“Lovely place to stay”

Very friendly helpful welcome - after that I didn't see anyone, but didn't need to. Everything worked well. My room was quiet and safe, no internet problems. Free bikes available to get into Middelburg, but we agreed that I was probably better off on foot - it's been over fifty years since I last rode a bike. And very close to the nearest Albert Hejn and Action. I have heard a lot about Action, and was delighted to have the opportunity to visit one for the first time.

Initially it was a little bit difficult to find, but we were met outside and guided to the place. The lady in charge was extremely friendly and helpful.

Great location close to the centre of Middelburg and made even better by having a stable of bikes to use. This was our second stay on a cycling tour and communication with our host was very good indeed, especially as we could not be sure what time we were arriving. We were able to store our bikes under cover and there is car parking on site for those with 4 wheels. The room facilities are compact but suitable for our overnight needs. If one wishes to cook a proper meal then the shared kitchen is well equipped along with a good sized dining area. ‘t Zeeuwse licht does not pretend to be luxury accommodation, but at the price point charged offers excellent value for money.

“Excellent value for money and very pleasant stay”

Really friendly couple, allowed us to borrow bicycles to get to the centre and advised where to visit.

Very nice location, very easy checkin with great hosts, bikes to take for free (although a bit rusty :-) ). We had a great time with our little son and will gladly come back :-)

The people were very helpful and nice to talk to, peaceful place so got a good night's sleep, close to the centre with bike paths all the way there and they offer free bikes

We love staying here- it has everything we need ! Lovely hosts, somewhere for our bikes , a well appointed and very clean room and some joint facilities to benefit from too. The location on the edge of Middelburg is perfect for cyclists.

There is a big yard where you can park your car or bikes. The owner was super friendly. The room was awesome, you have everything you need: plates, cutlery, sink, hairdryer, even a little iron. Coffee and tea also included. There is also a separate kitchen for all guests.

Room was clean and tidy, nice outlook onto Patio. we enjoyed the free use of the bikes to cycle into town. communal Kitchen area was excellent, we cooked evening dinner and chatted with other guests.

Irma was very welcoming and helpful. It's a great place to stay.

comfortable, peaceful and very well thought out accommodation. Great value for one or two people with options to book multiple rooms and enjoy large well equipped communal facilities. Next to an excellent cycling network. Very helpful and friendly host. Thoroughly recommended!
