Beautiful old inn, full of character but also comfort. Lovely little square across the street with an outside cafe during nice weather. Delicious breakfast in their cozy cafe.

An absolutely gorgeous little house, decorated inside in keeping with its age. Perfect accommodation for the old town of Middelburg. The hosts were super nice and helpful.

Everything was great, beyond expectations. Great venue in the centre of town. Parking close by (we did not reserve a parking spot at the venue itself) Great room in style with the old building, very tasteful. Great breakfast too.

We stayed in the house across the road from the main building. It's quite a small and very quirky house but has everything you need and it's in a great location. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the breakfast, served in the cafe, is excellent.

“An amazing place in Middelburg”

An amazing place! Everything was perfect. Everybody makes you feel at ease, as if you were at home. The staff was very professional and friendly. The location is ideal. The room was really great. They even allowed us to use the terrace and the fridge if we needed it ( a SMEG fridge by the way!). Breakfast was included in the price and it was really good and full. I can only recommand you this place and needless to say I will come back as soon as possible.

‘t Oude Bierhuys is really exceptional. Combine it with a nice breakfast in St John and you are set for a great vacation. Incredible, enjoyed it a lot!

Clean hotel with an interestingly unique interior, with exceptionally clean and equipped rooms and bathrooms. On a more than great location, in the town centre and just 5 min walk from the train station. Has a very cute and cozy café downstairs and great breakfast provided. The staff is exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful, ensuring amazing and comfortable stay and service. My mom and grandma loved their stay here! :)
