What an amazing space in Karoo

“VERY GOOD FOOD !!!! BUT VERY BASIC [RUSTIC] FOR QUITE A FEE !!! DOT THINK WE WIL GO THERE AGAIN .”

I AM PROBABLY WRONG . I WAS UNDER THE IMPESSION THAT WE WOULD HAVE HAD A DUBBLE BED ??? THE UNIT NEXT DOOR HAD ONE ??? FORTUNATALY WE ARE SMALL , AND FITTED ON SIGLE BED !

Very convenient - 3 km off the freeway. Cute, simple farm cottage.

Packed breakfast enabled us to get back on the road quickly. Fresh ingredients were great.

“Worth staying longer than a stopover”

We stopped over on the way to Cspe Town from Johannesburg. The farm was directly off the highway on a short gravel road. There was an alternate route for low clearance cars. The house was tastefully furnished and we immediately felt at home and at ease. The property has real charm and great amenities. A great dinner and breakfast was available with prior communication. Freyni and the family (Roxy) were so hospitable we immediately relaxed. We travelled with a Newborn as well and all 3 of us had a fantastic nights sleep. We actually stayed longer than planned the next morning to enjoy the place.

I had a lovely overnight stay with my dogs at one of the cottages. The cottages are each fenced off which means the dogs are safe inside. Clean, well equipped. Friendly reception.

Great, private braai and garden and it’s very quiet and dog friendly.

The hosts are fantastic. A real farm stay. My dogs were safe in a fenced area. A nice meal was provided

“Great option for one night stop during a journey”

The location was good for our travel route to Cape Town. Having supper cooked after a long day was great and the take away breakfast option was good but expensive for just sandwiches. Maybe a rusk or two in the room for morning coffee could be included.

“Perfect Karoo stop-over”

Was a pre-packed breakfast as I left super early, and it was thoroughly enjoyed while travelling back to JHB, in the car.

“Lovely farm stay”

We stayed in Rosemary cottage. Large steep and rooms perfect for family. Milk in the fridge and a wood fire already setup just awaiting that matchstick was that extra touch. Pet friendly so each cottage is fenced in.
