Overview
The Fantazia guest house is situated in central Slovakia, in the village of Michalova, 10 km south-east from Brezno, which is the gateway to the National Park Muranska Planina. Choose from nicely furnished rooms and enjoy fine cuisine in the restaurant or traditional food in the charming "Koliba" in the garden. There is a relax centre with a sauna and hot tub at the Fantázia. Penzion Fantázia also features a mini botanical garden, small houses for the animals and a pond. The guests can also enjoy barbecue facilities on the outdoor terrace.

Nice family type of hotel, in the middle the small village surrounded bybeautiful nature. Very kind lady (I believe an owner) was very helpful, easy to speak with, recommended perfect home-made dinner (local noodles with creamy spinach sauce - definitely recommend), it gave me some old school vibes.I get all I needed, I do recommend a visit.

“Very comfortable stay with a toddler in beautiful surroundings”
Great food in the hotel restaurant using local products like eggs from their own chickens. Restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner so we didn’t have to worry about cooking. Very helpful staff and beautiful big garden with facilities for children. Rooms are spacious with good size bathrooms. We had a room on the garden side so it was quiet.

This is a good-sized room with a beautiful view over the garden from the large balcony. We had a nice meal in the restaurant downstairs and enjoyed breakfast here too.

“very nice and well run place in proximity of a beautiful National Park.”
Very well run place in quite a remote part of Slovakia, with Muranska planina naitonal Park just above it. It's a great place for hiking - relatively easy, pristine nature and not many turists. Food in Fantazia was indeed fantastic (both the breakfasts and dinners), the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.

The host was very welcoming, the room was cozy, clean, big and with beautiful balcony, the breakfast was very tasty and reach.
