Staff was very good and spoke good English. Location was nice and it felt like being immersed in sand.

I had an amazing experience at Erg Chegaga Camp & Activities. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional, making us feel comfortable from the very beginning. The camp is beautifully located in the heart of the desert, with breathtaking views, especially during sunrise and sunset. The activities were well organized, and the camel ride was truly unforgettable. The food was delicious, offering authentic Moroccan flavors, and everything was prepared with great care. “Best Sahara feeling”

This is one of the best experiences of my life. Starting with an amazing ride with the 4x4 from M'Hamid to the dunes, our guide was very funny and answered all our questions about the Sahara, he knows the desert so well because his family are nomads. We did some stops to watch the amazing landscapes and learn more about the flora and fauna of the region. We arrived at the Camp and it was more beautiful than in the pictures, the sand dunes surrounding the little houses, the sky blue and the people working there were very friendly. The room was very cosy, besides the bed there was a mirror, some cushions to sit on and have a chill moment and a small table. We ate a delicious traditional meal prepared at the camp and went to see the sunset at the highest dune in Morocco. Some people booked Camel riding. I just walked with our guide there. It's really beautiful once you get on top to see all the dunes! The dinner was an exceptional traditional food and afterwards we sat on the bunfire and listened to some Amazigh live music. The sky was cloudless and the amount of stars you can see is incredible. Glad that the light pollution was non existent:) The next day, I woke up to see the sunrise and it was very very beautiful! We had a typical Moroccan breakfast and took the last pictures before coming back to M'Hamid. I'm a solo traveller and I felt very comfortable and relaxed during the experience, I would totally recommend it!!

A quiet place close to the largest sand dunes in Morocco, surrounded by dunes. The meals are traditional and delicious. It's also a good spot for stargazing, away from light pollution.

“The best Guide in Mhamid and super tour”

Our Guide was just fantastic. He took care of us and organized everything just ideally. Great camp, great travel to the camp with ostrich on the way, great camel ride ( small and cameral). We will one day come back to him

It was a magical and unforgettable night in M’Hamid El Ghizlane ✨. The atmosphere was peaceful and enchanting under a sky full of stars ⭐️, while the live local desert music 🎶 made the evening even more special. I stayed at a camp with Yaya, where everything was perfectly arranged — from the warm welcome to the great attention to detail . The desert here truly takes you far away, with golden dunes and breathtaking sunsets . A memory I will cherish forever, thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality ❤️

“Awesome experience”

Awesome. Could not be any better! Camp was very close to the dunes and not just paperthin tents but proper black painted traditional huts. They kept the warmth over night. Comfortable matresses, too! Very nice staff there. The Tajine was very delicious. Bear in mind: no alcohol at all available which is absolutely understandable. We booked the 4WD tour with 'Dar Yaya desert excursions'. Very recommended. Best driver, good car. Just fun and price was fine, too.

Very good experience, Hamza and Yussef were very kind and knowledgeable. In my opinion only the camelride is not really worth it, you will feel a little bit like a dull tourist. Sunset, sunrise and the stars were unforgettable

“Amazing stay in middle of sand dunes”

Amazing place to stay in the middle of the desert. The vastness of the dunes around all the way to Algeria are breathtaking, the silence is deafening. Best starsky I've ever seen if you walk a bit away from the camp at night.

Yaya and his staff made us feel welcome and comfortable at all times. Yaya English was a great help.for us. He was amazing at answering all our hundreds of questions we had. Our favourite memory was without a doubt the quads. Incredible experience as well as being out in the desert.

Great place! a one in a lifetime experience! the host was really friendly and kind, the stars were very vibrant at night and the service was great! food was tasty and the bathrooms were clean. The staff was really kind and provided great entertainment during the night, music played and a bonfire was lit. the camel ride was comfortable and the opportunity to see the sunset is a must. The ride to the area is a fun one, through the dunes, and the host may tell stories and facts about the history or area. we really enjoyed our stay!!! If you are concerned about bugs, we only saw scarabs, harmless beetles, and no snakes or spiders!! :D

It's been one of the beautiful experience in my life. Yaya it's a real nomad and he's so happy to share with his guests all the details of the life in the desert, he makes you feel very welcome and like at home. The camp it's perfect, very very clean, Ayoub it's the guy that the care of the kitchen, like a proper chef!!! Everything was delicious. The tent it's clean big, with power for light and to charge your devices and very cozy, the bathroom incredibly clean. The camels tour during the sunset will make you dream!!!

I would like to share with you one of the most beautiful experience that will be unforgettable in my life I had decided to come to visit desert with my family and I find a reliable organizer who guid me to reach there , thank you "YaYa" . First of all , I had talked with him before I come and he shares with me his lovely place to spend my experience to desert I come with my family by a normal car to mhamid , then I found Yaya in our waiting , after that he took us to his nice place where we got delicious lunch and after we left our car in mhamid village to start our trip to Erg chegaga (big sand dunes) by car 4×4 , we had arrived before sunset to get a panoramic view for this beautiful sunset on the top of erg chigaga. At night the stars was lightning the yard In the camp that surrounded by candles and we enjoyed the night with Sahara music . I would like to recommend everyone who like to spending this beautiful experience adventure to desert by car 4x4 and camels to erg Chigaga"

“Wonderful best experience to erg chigaga”

Yaya was the best host, the camp was amazing. Hassan was there to pick us up to enter the desert. He was also very kind. The food was also great and included in the price you paid. This camp exceeded my expectations and I would definitely want to come back. The tent was big, comfortable and the bed amazing. We went on a camel excursion to watch the sunset and it was also perfect. After dinner we had a wood fire and they played some music and as well sang. We could see the stars, the moon everything was perfect. I suggest you wake up to see the sunrise as it is amazingggg!
