Very nice host. The housing is close to village, you can reach it with your car. Small dunes are just behind the houses and even they're small, it very nice.

My stay at Desert Camp Chraika was great! I booked a night before going with them on a 4-day desert tour in the desert which was the best experience ever and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an authentic experience in the desert. It may look expensive at first, compared to what is sold in Marrakech, but with them you get the real deal. An authentic experience in the desert with locals who know where to take you and take care of every step of the way. When I came back I spent one more night with them at the camp. All time spent at the camp and with them was great! They took good care of me, made my bed outside so I can sleep under the stars, served delicious food and tea and were generally very hospitable. I highly recommend staying there and booking a tour with them.

“Great taste of desert”

Great Location! You don't need any special trip to the desert. Easy access by sedan car. Close to M'hamid by walk is 20 minutes. Clean apartments. Nice crew. Good food.

Agata and Mohamed took good care of us, and tried everything to make our desert experience as great as possible! When our camel trip to the desert didn't go as expected (which wasn't Agata's and Mohamed's fault!), they let us stay another night in the camp for free and set up a nice big tent because all bungalows were already booked. Also together we found a way to make up for the disappointment of the camel trip. Appreciate it a lot! 🙏🏽 The bungalows are cosy and warm at night. Food was really good. Loved the daily bonfires in the evenings too. There are quite nice sand dunes right behind the camp. Enjoyed those a lot!! We recommend to visit the Kasbah of M'hamid.

“Excellent location, comfy camp and awesome team”

Amazing, I wanted a simple and quiet night in the desert and I got this here. Mohammed @ Chraika is very nice, didn't push excursions, he was friendly and helpful. Everything was great, the room, the really comfy bed, the facilities, all the lounging areas, really delicious and abundant food, and also great WiFi! The best part is it is accessible on foot and by car but it is actually in the desert, surrounded by dunes. They do excursions, music at night, bonfires and all the nice activities but this camp also provides a comfortable space for those who just want to relax and enjoy the desert. If like me, you enjoy solitude, this is a great place!

Our stay at Chraika was amazing and gave us an unforgettable adventure into the heart of the Sahara. The atmosphere was captivating, with endless dunes and starlit skies setting the scene for an exceptional desert experience. Agata and Muhammed have really created a unique place. The communication with them was great from start to finish and we received lots of valuable tips and advice, not only for our desert trip and M'hammid but also for other places we were visiting in Morocco. We booked the 4-day desert tour, where we enjoyed two days of camel trekking followed by two days with a jeep. Our guides Murburak, Sabor, Bechema, and Mustafa were outstanding, ensuring our comfort and adding an authentic touch to the journey with their knowledge and friendliness. The culinary experience at Chraika as well as in the desert was remarkable, with delicious local meals. The nightly bonfires with local music and Halid's dance, really got us in the desert spirit, making our experience at Chraika even more magical. Chraika really offers more than just accommodation—it's an adventure into the true life of the desert. We highly recommend staying here as well as organizing desert tours for anyone looking for an unforgettable journey.

“Superb”

My daughter and I loved our time here so much that we extended another 2 days. The location was perfect for us being able to walk straight out into the dunes every day with our dog and watch the sunrise and sunset right next to our room. The food was fabulous. We went on a fantastic day trip by 4x4 further out into the desert organised by Chraika. Our hosts are the loveliest people whom we will definitely return to visit again for a longer stay.

Great place to stay in the desert and, at the same time, close to Mhamid (15 min walking). The camp is neat, clean and authentic, all ammenities are available (hot water, internet, phone charging point). Huts are warm enough even during winter nights. Staff are welcoming and warm-hearted. Meals prepared by the cook are particularly delicious.

“great desert spot!”

Desert feeling but accessible with a car (we’re traveling with a 9m baby so it was a great solution). We met Mohammad in MHamid village and followed him to the camp with our car for a few minutes. The huts are very cute, and warm at night. The food was amazing! We wished we could stay longer

“A real desert experience.”

I had the most amazing experience of my life at Camp Chraika. I slept out under the Milky Way. Ate bread cooked in the hot sands of the camp fire. The food was some of the best I've ever eaten. The facilities are clean, comfortable and well maintained and the staff are efficient, friendly and always happy to oblige. I took a four day trip into the desert, wild camping among the dunes, sleeping under the stars. It was the greatest adventure of my life. If you are looking to step out of your bubble and experience the real desert with passionate and communicative guides, then this is your doorway. As for the camp, it's beautiful. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the showers are clean with hot water. I can't recommend Camp Chraika highly enough.

“You can't imagine the Sahara until you arrive!”

This is really a place beyond words. I fell in love with the small dunes and tamarisk trees on my doorstep! Incredible sunrises and sunsets. Despite the challenges to bring the resources we take for granted (structures, water, electricity, food..) Agata and Mohammed have created a welcoming place in the desert, simple and cosy, with all these kind of needs taken care of! An amazing place to feel the silence, relax. It was perfect for me to write, paint, meditate... I wish I could stay longer... (I feel like I could stay there for months!) And if you are searching for someone to organize a trip deeper into the desert, these two form a reliable, knowledgeable and caring Dream Team. The locations they took me to see are just... well, unforgettable!
