There's a view on the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. We got very good recommendations what to see from the owner. He lended us snorkels for free. There's a parking place, a bit narrow entrance but it was no problem to get in with a smaller car. There was also aquamat which was very nice.

Lovely house away up the hill away from the noise. We literally had the whole kitchen and terrace for ourselves. The room is a very big size with ensuite bathroom. The view from the room is great also to see the sunset and the stars at night. It is conveniently located nearby perhaps the most beautiful beaches in Malta including Golden Bay, etc. Mattia and Katrina are great hosts. They are super friendly and were always available for questions and recommendations even before our stay. Really can't fault it!

Mattia is the best host I've ever had in a booking reservation. Except from his kindness, he gave us great suggestions for places to visit around Malta, and how to avoid any tourist traps. Always with a smile on his face and willing to help! The house is great, really well-decorated, with an amazing view (please don't forget to check the sunset), incredibly clean and tidy. It is very close to many beaches and it's super quiet and calm. It has private parking and you don't need to bring any towels with you. The host provides you with snorkeling equipment. We would absolutely recommend it without a second thought. In the end, Mgarr is a nice village that has lots of scenic restaurants and delicious food, it's worth a visit. If you ever visit this property, please consider Mattia's suggestions.

“A wonderful rest”

Appartments was very spacious, with a balcony, large space in the kitchen and living room. Fantastic view of the surroundings, amazing sunset. There is a small jacuzzi outside, an outdoor terrace. Very peaceful rest. Near the beach you can take a taxi or bus. The beaches are rocky or pebbly. Many beautiful trails for walking. Mattia is excellent in everything, we had a wonderful communication, we hope to come back here again.

“Unforgettable place in Malta”

Superb location approximately in the center of the island, at short distance to almost every sightseeing point. Isolated on top of a hill with an amazing coast to coast view of sunset and sundown 😍 super quiet place, away from the confusion of the city, with lots of outdoor space to have your meals or simply chill out enjoying the view and the peace. I felt completely at home and not at a guest house, I think this says everything... Hosts were genuinely friendly and always smiling, plus they provided us lots of useful tips to explore the island (some places we would never have known they existed if they hadn't advised us) and made sure we had everything we needed. For all these reasons, I couldn't appreciate more my stay at this place. Even the adorable wild cat visiting us in the yard every evening I will never forget 💙

“Wonderful hosts, we didn't want to leave.”

The rural location was perfect, very quiet & peaceful away from the urban areas in an area with lots of walking routes & some wildlife sites not far away. While sitting on the patio we enjoyed watching a lizard! The distant views are very good & also interesting to see the surrounding farmland. Mattia & Katrin are such lovely people, very friendly, welcoming, helpful & kind hosts. I loved how enthusiastic Mattia was about the location & where to go and giving advice. The property was very clean, comfortable & spacious. Thank you ever so much for your generosity in providing various food items. Excellent WiFi throughout the property was a great help. In other locations in southern Europe we have had problems with mosquitos, but there were none here when we visited in early May. We hired a car from the airport. It only took a 20 min drive. The country lane up to Secco's is quite narrow & a single track, therefore hiring a small car is recommended.

Katrin and Mattia were very kind hosts who made us feel at home and gave us the most helpful suggestions for our time in Malta and even Gozo.

“Quiet, Peaceful, Authentic.”

Everything. The location, the host, the easiness to check in and check out. No rush to do either. Super quiet. The most beautiful coast to coast view from the balcony. Mattia, the host, is one of the nicest, kindest, most genuine and accommodating human beings we have ever had the honour to come across. He made sure we had what we needed for breakfast and generally left us to our own devices. You are not just renting out a room, you’re basically renting out half a house with your own personal bathroom, balcony and kitchen. Private and free parking is available for one car. There’s a BBQ and chillax area outside. Because mgarr is one of the highest points of the island, there’s always a light breeze. There are 3 sandy beaches very close to the property and more around a 10-20 min drive away. I would suggest renting a car or a moped if you’re going to stay at this property.

“Excellent stay”

We are lovers of nature and farmhouses, so this was the best choice. From the views of sunsets and sunrises from your balcony to the kitchen and room where you have everything you need. Mattia and Katri were very attentive and helpful, also give some really good advices of visiting Malta. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Great location (although a car is recommended), nice view for both sieds of the sea, well equipped kitchen with various food and drink for breakfast. Our host Mattia is a very friendly and helpful guy and even though we had only a little time to talk we got a lot of advice about the things to do and visit on the island.

Beautiful house and great hosts! They gave us many ideas of things to do around the island and made sure that everything was fine during all our stay. The room was quite big and comfortable. Even if the road to get to the house can be difficult, the location is beautiful
