Overview
Situated in the heart of Methven - Mt Hutt village, Pinedale offers affordable self-catering, family friendly accommodation with great facilities. The lodge has 5 bedrooms with bunk beds, storage and heating. The spacious lounges have free movies, games and books, plus pool table, free Wi-Fi access and 2 fireplaces. The private apartment is separate from the lodge and has a private garden, stylish full-size kitchen, double glazing and air conditioning. It includes with 2 bedrooms, spacious lounge and separate storage room. Pinedale is only a 5-minute walk from local restaurants and Methven's shops. It is a 10-minute drive to the base of Mt Hutt Ski Area. Christchurch Airport is 1 hour away.

“lovely place to escape the city, reasonably priced with alot of local walks, pubs and shops”
Location was excellent, The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need. It was nice and spacious for two people. Parking was great.

“Unable to stay due to someone already being there and hosts were not contactable! Not good!”
We arrived at the property and there was someone already in there! We tried unsuccessfully a number of times to call, email & message the hosts & in the end had to book alternative accomodation. I Would Not Recommend.

“Terrible”
There was no gas in the bottle (and only one bottle!) for showers and cooking. So no hot showers or cooking for us. We tried many times over the 3 day stay to contact the owner (through multiple channels) and we still have not had a response. I won't even go into the state of the place.

“Comfortable space with potential just in need of a little maintenance.”
Location was good and good size for three of us. Was a good shower!

The place was good for our large group of friends. Loved the fireplace area to relax and boot dryers over the fire. Location is close to town.

The bedroom set up was great for families but the men struggled to get comfortable in the short beds.
