“Overall, a good stay, but the plastic use definitely needs to be addressed.”
I had a pleasant stay at the Fairfield—the place was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly. However, I was disappointed to see that breakfast was served with plastic plates and silverware. It’s 2024, and I think it’s time for the hotel to switch to more eco-friendly options. On a positive note, I liked their initiative to plant five trees if you opt out of room service, which is a great way to encourage sustainability. Overall, a good stay, but the plastic use definitely needs to be addressed.

Great breakfast options! Room was clean and the bathroom upgrade was beautiful. The location was 15 mins away from the Pontchartrain Convention & Civic Center which we had a competition at and there were tons of food options near the hotel. Great experience and will be booking again next year.

It was conveniently located. The room was nice and large and comfortable. The pillows were soft like I like. Check in was easy and the lady at the desk was very welcoming and nice.

Location was good. Breakfast was fair. Healthier options would be nice. They ran out of food a few times. They need to go back to making eggs, biscuits, oatmeal, etc and also provide fruit, cereal, etc. We were disappointed in the breakfast. Most of the staff was nice. Rooms were spacious and clean.
