We are more than grateful for choosing this place as a starting point for our trekking from Mestia to Ushguli. The owners are truly welcoming and lovely. The rooms and the bathroom are spotless clean and cozy. The location is great - less than 5 min. on foot from the city centre, it is very quiet and also next to the mountain path. We couldn't imagine better view of the city and the mountains from the terrace of the house. Last but not least, we recommend the homemade Svanetian salt (ask for it). Probably it was the best accommodation and hospitality we found in a region where one can feel not only the positive but also the negative impact of touristification. We are looking forward to coming back!

Nana’s guesthouse has everything you need for a comfortable stay and Nana is the hostess with the mostess! She is unbelievably kind and welcoming and her breakfast was an exquisite platter of local cuisine that was great value. In my limited Russian, she managed to recommend us places to go and even helped us get a bus to our next destination. It was honestly one of my favourite hospitality experiences of all my travels and I would love to come back!

Host, comfortable bed, clean room, magnificent view

The house Is situated in a place where you have a great view of Mestia and yet it's very central and close to everything. It is cozy, clean and comfortable. During my stay unfortunately I got sick and they helped a lot by providing medicines and going to the city to buy soda water. I definitely recommend this place!

“Little gem in beautiful Mestia”

We liked everything about this lovely guesthouse that we didn't want to leave. Common bathroom was nice and clean. Very friendly owners and common balcony where you could sit and enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and river were unforgettable.

Our house owner and family was very kind and made for us home made jam and bread ,wine ,which was delicious.she is genuinely so kind and very helpful person. God bless her and family. We even got to pick apples from their yard .

Really nice place and good location for us as a little bit out of the main square in mestia. Bathroom and bedroom very clean and the room was lovely and warm.

“All we needed in Mestia”

Very nice and helpful hostess. After camping for few days we had only one wish and it was hot water! It was amazing! We took room with private bathroom. Room was even bigger than on the pictures, with the kettle, coffee and tea. We bought some delicious homemade wine and we drunk it enjoying beautiful view of the city. Room was really quiet and we slept very comfortable. Very close to the city centre and we could park in the property's yard. I believe it was a daughter of the hostess, who spoke English.

This is a perfect place if you want to stay with the family. We were met by neighbors as the host was away at the time we arrived. However it was not an issue at all, the neighbors called the host. The room is spacious and clean, the view from the balcony is amazing - you see all of Mestia. The family is very hospitable and welcomed us with the cake and tea.
