The balcony had a very nice view of the mountains and it was very calm to hang out. The kitchen had useful appliances. The host woman was kind as well.

Perfect for a night or 2. The room was big. I could leave my big bagpack till I completed the Ushguli trek. I stayed another night when I came back

“Wonderful stay in the city center.”

The owners are very friendly and kind. The location is perfect since it is near to the city center. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. If you get a room with the terrace, the view is wonderful!!

NB! Unfortunately I would not recommend this place for anybody. The host, an elderly lady, was sweet and the room was great with a good view. BUT the host doesn't speak that much english so a man lives there with his wife and daughter to help her translate. That man was loudly screaming and yelling at his wife one day when I came back from a hike and he left her with scrathes up and down her arms. Worst part was when I sat at the shared balcony the wife came out their room and he followed her, grabbed her hard and shook her right in front of me. He didn't even care that I was there and saw it all. I had no choice but to interfere even though he made me feel so scared. I went out and decided to find a new place to stay as I have NO tolerance for violence. When I went back to my room and packed my things they were arguing and out the window I saw him push her to the ground on the shared balcony. While I don't think it's the hosts fault what happened, she clealy knows what is going on as his yelling and screaming was VERY loud and she was in the garden in front of the balcony. That's also why it doesn't feel like she is taking her guests safety into consideration by having a man there that can't control his anger. Such a scary experience I would never wish for anyone!

The place is located close enough to Mestia city center and close to a nice affordable restaurant The host allowed me to leave my bags for free as I went for the Mestia Ushguli hike which was amazing!

“Worth staying in”

A perfect stay, everything was great. It was some distance from the town center, but not far. It's just a 5 minute walk to the bus stop. The lady of the house kept everything neat and very clean.

The accommodation was very clean and quiet. The owners kindly let me keep one of my bags at the place while I did the Mestia - Ushguli hike. The location was also very convenient and a lovely view of the mountains!

Location, terrace and facilities are perfect

When I arrived, I thought the host wasn't home and waited in the living room. But when I messaged on WhatsApp, I got an immediate reply - turns out the kind host was just in her room all along! The room was very comfortable. The highlight was the large balcony where I could relax with tea while enjoying views of the snow-capped mountains - absolutely delightful! While the guesthouse is a bit outside Mestia's center (about a 10-minute walk), the path is easy to navigate. A peaceful retreat with great amenities!

Lovely host and guesthouse. I liked that the backyard is filled with plants - makes it very homey.

We loved the accommodation! The views to the mountains and nature were amazing and relaxing! Also the kitchen, which was very cozy. You have to walk 10-15min to reach the old village. You can park your car on the same street

Good Guesthouse. You have everything, what you need. The room was clean and you can use a kitchen. The shared bathroom is not very comfortable but okay. The price is very good for a private room. You walk 5-10 Minutes from the bus Station.

Second time I stayed here. Amazing view!! Very friendly owner who even welcomed me late at night. The room has everything you need. It’s amazing to wake up with a view of the Caucasus mountains!
