Overview
Located on the seafront in Messina, Blu Mediterraneo is just a few steps from tram and bus stops, and 200 metres from the ferry port. Its modern rooms feature bright colour schemes, mosaic bathrooms and balconies. Each room has brightly coloured walls and contemporary furniture. All rooms are air conditioned and include an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi. They offer views of the sea, garden or street. The breakfast buffet includes organic marmalades and honey and freshly baked croissants and cakes from Messina's best patisseries. Nespresso coffee is available, as is a selection of teas and herbal teas. Guests have discounts at restaurants 200 metres away. Blu Mediterraneo is on the first floor of a building in the centre of Messina. It is 1.5 km from Messina Train Station.

Catching the ferry the next morning this place was ideal. Exceptionally clean with good self serve breakfast.

I wanted somewhere for one night right by the ferry terminal so this was perfect, although it’s not necessarily the nicest part of Messina and about a 45 min walk into the city centre. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, very easy to get in. Breakfast was good.

“Ideal stay at Messina”
Exactly what I needed for Messina, as I wanted to stay in front of the promenade. Clean and spacious room, lovely balcony, cute breakfast, the lady that I met in the morning was very friendly. I parked my car exactly in front of the building, that was very convenient and it is free-white colored line. If u are hungry, try the pizza restaurant 50m on your left hand side, as you get out of the property :P I will go back to Blue Mediterraneo soon!

“Nice short stay”
The location was easy to find, there is a tram stop near. The room itself was big and there were two beds. It was clean and the furniture new. There was also a big balcony with the room. The shower was pretty cool, it had changing lights.
