“Authentic, stylish and small scale camp to enjoy Erg Chebbi dunes”

We loved the small scale of the camp, the stylish, warm and nicely decorated family tent, the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff. Lovely seating areas in the dunes and 2 sandboards available to have some action. The staff did there best with a fresh and original diner and with fun, live music at the firepit. I had a huge cold and they helped me by providing hot water and herbs to unblock my nose and calm things down. We had a nice and private camel ride in the morning at sunrise. We got up before the sunrise and got seated on a dune to enjoy the sunrise with just the 4 of us. The camel (dromedare) guide was discrete, kind and made really lovely family photos for us. We also chose a half day guided adventure with 4WD to the nomads for a kind encounter and invitation for tea and berber pizza, drove to the lake, the abandonned village with old mine, had a fantastic ride across the dunes and a walk at the Merzouga palmgrove. Truly enjoyed this.

The property is beautifully maintained—clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The rooms were lovely and provided a great night’s sleep, which really set the tone for a relaxing stay. The food was another highlight: a delicious four-course dinner followed by a generous buffet-style breakfast, both of which exceeded expectations. We also did a sunset camel ride, which was a particularly memorable experience—peaceful, scenic, and well worth it. Most of the staff were also genuinely warm and attentive, which added positively to the overall experience.

Super camp with awesome staff! Highly recommend place! Very individual approach to guests, very welcoming and friendly! Views are amazing and sunset walk to dunes was awesome! Room was great, beautiful and comfortable with good shower. Night in the desert is a great experience! Would definitely return!

“A Truly Magical Desert Experience”

Staying at this desert camp was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome. They were not only friendly but also genuinely attentive to every detail, making sure our stay was comfortable and special. The setting of the camp is absolutely stunning — beautifully decorated with a perfect balance of traditional charm and modern comfort. It’s clear how much thought and care went into creating such a peaceful and enchanting space. One of the highlights for me was the food. Not only was it delicious, but the hosts went out of their way to prepare homemade gluten-free bread especially for me — a gesture that truly touched me and showed their dedication to their guests’ needs. Everything was so well organized, from the transfers to the meals and the activities. I can’t recommend this place enough — it’s a unique, heartwarming experience I’ll never forget.

A cosy intimate 6-tented authentic Berber camp. We will remember this New Year's Eve for many years to come. This is hospitality at its best in a rare suggestive environment, with luxury beds, and a unique atmosphere. Forget the other super touristic white-tented camps, packed one next to the other. Here is another category. Well done guys!

Intimate camp away from the crowds. Great food, amazing staff and excellent service. The two brothers, Salim and Moha, are incredible hosts. If you’re planning on visiting Merzouga to experience the Sahara, this is the place. 10 out of 10 on every aspect.

“Luxury in the dunes”

Camp is located rather far out and has no immediate neighbours so it is quiet and you get a feeling for the dunes. It is very tastefully decorated, haimas (tents) are big. Exzellent and very personal treatment by the two owners/brothers who are Amizigh people, former nomads, and told us a lot about their culture. Decoration and service is very individual - there are only 6 tents and we had 6 staff, all extremely friendly. Food has a gourmet ambition and is not the traditional fare.

Salem and Moha created wonderful campsite with respect to tradition. Staying in their camp was highlight of our Morocco holidays and we can definitely recommend this place as best option in Mergouza desert. Whole campsite is on silent place without any other campsites nearby, so you can enjoy true silence and calmness of desert, without any disturbing lights in night. You will feel more like in real touareg camp, not like in tourist trap. Tents are beautifuly equiped with a lot of details, you can enjoy even shower in desert. If you think nothing can surprise you more, there comes dinner and breakfast which is tasting exceptionaly well and you will be surprised how great meals can be prepared in desert. Almost Michelin experience done by Salem. At the evening there is fire with traditional music. Beside that you can enjoy night outside of tent in specially prepared bed under the stars and see whole Milky Way from comfort of your bed. During day it is possible to organize various activities, we tried quad bike ride and camel ride on sunrise, both were really nice. Thanks Salem and Moha for great stay. They will make everything for your comfort and happiness with unforgetable experience in desert. We wish you more happy tourists.

Salem and Moha, two young brothers, intelligent and special locals, have created in the land of their family, the best of the best shelter in the whole Sahara. Amazing "private" camp of 6 spacious cozy tents at Merzouga, beyond any expectation, really warm hospitality of all the team, authentic and modern at the same time, great level of all services. Fantastic fresh food made by Salem, who is also the chef, served under the sky or at a beautiful dinning area into a big tent. Details everywhere. Art de la table into Sahara. Tents very clean and warm - though end of December. Linen and towels of high quality. The location is the best, quiet and peaceful, at the back side of the dunes, where anything else isn't visible except the dunes and the sky. And beyond all the people of the camp ! A unique unforgettable experience. Extremely recommended from the bottom of my heart. And try to stay at least two-three nights.
