Overview
Situated in the open Sahara desert, Auberge De Charme Les Dunes D´Or is a large traditional Kasbah. Inside its majestic walls lie beautiful courtyards and an outdoor swimming pool. The air-conditioned rooms are individually decorated in an authentic style. They come with a private bathroom and overlook the dunes. Some of them feature a balcony. Every morning a breakfast buffet is served. In the restaurant guests can sample regional Moroccan cuisine made from fresh local produce. Guests can organise various desert excursions from Auberge De Charme Les Dunes, including camel rides, treks and 4 x 4 trips. After a day on the dunes, the poolside terrace offers the ideal place to relax. Auberge De Charme Les Dunes D´Or is just 12 km from Merzouga. “Dream vacation. We loved every second of it.”
It’s one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in Morocco. The staff was amazingly kind and helpful. It was fun to be able to let our kids explore the dunes while we sat at the hotel and drank our coffee, because the visibility was great and they were always in our sight

“Incredible location. Disappointing stay.”
Huge room with little terrace on sand dune side. Good bed, quiet! Shower had somewhat warm water. Breakfast is okay. Good clear path to the location starting from Shell station. Parking out of the sun. Complex is big and looks okay. Two pools. Airconditioning!

“Amazing Auberge in the dunes of Merzouga”
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hussein was an excellent host and helped our group in all ways. The whole auberge looks great, perfectly inserted in the dune region, and the swimming pools are excellent for day or night swims.
