This magical place in the hills is owned and run by Thierry who puts a great deal of care, detail and consideration into his guest's stay. His love of the land, plants and animals is evident. Thierry gave us a tour of the property plus an amazing breakfast which included a whole tasting activity with different jams and chocolate / cheese spreads ! The bed was very comfortable. We loved the jucazzi at night whilst stargazing We enjoyed relaxing in the morning looking out over the view.

Beautiful gardens and small cabins that complement the surrounding landscape, expertly maintained by Thierry. Great communication and information about the island to help us make the most out of our short time there. Straightforward to get to from the ferry port and walkable to a fun beach with bars and food (although it is a steep hill to walk back up!)

“Immersion in nature, peace and tranquility”

This is a complete immersion in nature, peace and tranquility. Top marks to Thierry, the host and his ingenuity in making such a unique location and experience possible. The breakfasts were imaginative with many different choices of home made bread, chocolates and cheese and Thierry is very friendly and willing to help wherever he can.

“Pleasant stay in nice wooden huts (cabanes), surrounded by flowers and birds”

Great common area with view of the sea and the sunset! Also the rooms are very comfortable, surrounded by beautiful nature and garden. Thierry can offer a very delicious breakfast, and he is a fun guy, and a very nice, helpful and engaged host. 15 minutes down you have Mero beach with nice bars, drinks, food, village life (take the return up as a sports challenge).

The whole property is really cool and impressive, owner’s creation over many years. It’s perfect for anyone who loves nature as you can see crabs walking around and have breakfast with hummingbirds. The mosquito net in the cabin was so good none got in and temperature was good for sleeping. Location is nice, on a hill overlooking the sea, valley and mountain. Breakfast was so delicious I still miss it. The owner gave amazing tips for sightseeing with a level of detail you can’t get elsewhere. He knows the island better than most locals. It’s really good value. They could probably charge more if they wanted.

Hosts Thierry and Jacky are what make this place special. They offered us a complimentary tour of the south after picking us up from the port. Off grid clamping and the communal breakfasts were big draws for us.

Everything.It is magical environment. Total getting away experience well placed close to the beach. Thierr y is a great host and takes real good care of his guests. Great combination between wild camping and comfort

The location is beautiful and brilliant for bird watchers. You can see Parrots and Hummingbirds if you are lucky, but there are hundreds of birds ( also lizards but most people don't do lizard watching I guess )

Super location, amazing hosts, a piece of paradise! I had to quarantine 5 days on arrival, and cannot imagine a better place to do it: the area is quite extensive on the hillside with amazing views on the Caribbean Sea, lots of various birds specifically colibri, lizards, crabs, beautiful flowers, and plants. Passion fruits could be collected every day for a fresh juice mix.
