In the middle of Merkem's countryside, De Klaproos offers a modern bed and breakfast with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, garden and a terrace. Ypres is a 15-minute drive and De Panne beach is 40 minutes by car. Sand coloured walls, wooden furniture and paintings are featured in the room. The bathroom comes with a bath or shower, toilet and free toiletries. Every morning De Klaproos offers a rich breakfast including fresh rolls, also available is orange juice and several spreads. A restaurant is located 1km away and more restaurants can be found in Ypres. Diksmuide is a 10 minutes’ drive to the north and Roeselare is 20km away. Courtray can be reached within 35 minutes by car.

“Quiet and nice”
Comfortable beds, friendly hosts. Very beautiful and peaceful surroundings (on the edge of the forest), excellent parking. The accommodation probably had two water pipes - for drinking and cooking and for washing, showering, etc.

“Superb stay in a wonderful B&B.”
Fantastic B&B - spotlessly clean, great facilities and breakfast and very friendly hosts. Parking was easy and we ate in one of the local restaurants which was excellent. Ideal place to stay on our way back to Calias and I'm sure we'll return for an extended trip in the future.

Everything was perfect. Super cozy house, super friendly hosts, the breakfast was perfect, the bed was comfy. Very modern and beautiful house. Free parking next to the house. Beautiful surroundings. And an awesome collection of Peugeot model cars! We also purchased some nice pottery.
