Overview
Set on 2 acres of lush gardens and bushland, Kingfisher Motel Merimbula offers spacious rooms with a private balcony and great views of the Pacific Ocean. Guests can swim in the heated pool with fully equipped BBQ area. Merimbula's Magic Mountain is a 4-minute drive away. It is a 7-minute drive to Main Beach. Each room at the Kingfisher Motel includes air conditioning, electric blankets and cable TV. All feature an en suite bathroom, and a kitchenette with microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. Laundry facilities and Wi-Fi access are available to all guests. There is plenty of parking available for boats, buses and large vehicles.

“Gorgeous 1950s motel maintained in a period correct immaculate condition”
We have stayed at the Kingfisher motel many times over the years. We just love it. It’s situated on a hill just out of Merimbula with magnificent views. We love the originality of the 1950s vibe and the host maintains the property in an immaculate condition.

Old-style but cute Motel! It was the perfect accommodation for a night in Merimbula. The view from the balcony was amazing, and it had most of the essential amenities needed for a good stay. The woman at reception was really friendly too :)

“Wonderful Motel with helpful owners”
Wonderful view looking over Merimbula. Great staff in checking in, even providing some milk for coffee in the morning. Parking right in front of door. Clean bathroom and nice balcony.

Lovely accommodation. Beautiful view from the balcony. The most comfortable bed I have had in accommodation. The room had everything that we needed, even offered fresh milk upon arrival. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pool was a bonus. Free parking right at our front door.
