The location was perfect for a journey to Brussels to catch a flight. The accommodation offered a great mix of comfort, convenience, and hospitality, all surrounded by natural beauty. While I was a bit overly critical, I noticed that the electricity pylon lines were close by; however, this is beyond the owner's control. The breakfast was a bit unusual but enjoyable, with well-seasoned scrambled eggs and gorgeous waffles.

I had a wonderful stay with a great welcome. The rooms are decorated with care and thoughts. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable I’ve taken the brand name and references for when I’m ready to buy new ones ! Went in town for some food through the pedestrian path. Lovely short walk that felt safe even at night on my own. Breakfast was just gorgeous. Go for the oats pancakes if you can, they are delicious 🤤

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice surroundings, great breakfast. What more can you ask for. Elke and Franky are are very nice, open and helpful hosts. Parking space is large, The place is pretty convenient as a base for trips to Benelux cities.

You can park for free at the train station in Merchten and take a train, which is only a 30-minute ride to the city. This convenience makes it an excellent base for exploring the area. Moreover, the B&B offers a very good internet connection, making it ideal for remote work. Whether you’re on a business trip or simply need to stay connected, you’ll find the internet speed reliable and efficient. “A perfect place to stay, if you are intent on exploring almost all of Belgium in a few days”

The host family was outstanding in terms of friendliness, attentiveness and concern for traveller comfort. We were greeted with a welcome drink and cake. The delicious cake ritual was a daily event. The breakfast was plentiful in terms of variety, quantity and freshness. Frankie (correct spelling?) makes some very nice pancakes. Thank you. The location was idyllic, quiet and relaxing in a residential area a little distance out of Brussels. The bedroom was modern, the bathroom of generous size with new fixtures. There is ample room for convenient outdoor parking right beside the accommodation. The beds were comfortable and if you enjoy a drink in the outdoors, there is undercover seating with a country view.

“Quiet getaway next to Brussels”

The breakfast was really excellent! Both days we were served warm oat cakes, on top of the buffet breakfast. The owners were very kind and helped us a lot once we realized we had left our cell phone behind. I would be delighted to stay here again!
