Mellbystrand Stugor Solstickan Cottages are in Mellbystrand, 150 metres from Sweden’s longest sandy beach. Halmstad is just a 20-minute drive away. All feature kitchenettes, seating areas and private terraces. On-site parking is free. Each cottage has barbecue equipment and a TV. Communal facilities include a children’s playground and rental bicycles. Within 15 minutes’ walk of Mellbystrand Stugor Solstickan Cottages are plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants. Skummeslöv Nature Reserve and Skummeslöv Golf Course are less than a 10-minute drive away.

Great place to unwind, 150 m to the beach. I had had two wonderful relaxing days by the beach. Took long walks. The owner is warm and kind and offered me free coffe and also rescued me and drove me to train station when the bus did not arrived on time. They are also building new facilities, surely its going to be really nice with spa and swimming pool. Can highly recommend for solo traveller like me and even family gets together as there are enough rooms.

The location was beautiful, the outside area was idyllic. It was easy to find and the parking lot was big. it was affordable. The staff was friendly.

“Close to the beach, a great place to stay with the children”
The place and a hotel was quiet and very well located, close to the beach. A green area with a small playground for children :) Nice, comfortable cottages with everything you need, a bathroom and a small kitchen well equipped. It was a great place to spend 2 nights with the children. A very friendly stuff - thank you for everything :))

“Good value for money - great location and friendly staff”
Returned to Solstickan again due to its perfect location - a stone throw from the ocean and long coast, and close to Vallåsen for biking or Lagan for fishing. Staff was as usual friendly and accommodated last changes to our booking upon arrival. The apartment had everything for our need, was clean and comfy! Good food and portions in the restaurant for dinner!
