Fantastic stay! The 2-bedroom apartment in Southbank exceeded expectations. The views were absolutely stunning, offering a perfect backdrop of the city. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished, making it feel like a home away from home. The generous size of the accommodation, combined with the convenience of on-site car parking, made our stay even more enjoyable.

Great location, great views

The accommodation itself is great. Cleanliness, facilities, and location are amazing – if you manage to get there. However, my experience was marred by several concerning practices. On the day of our travel, I received a message from the host requesting a $300 security bond to be transferred to a private account, along with a photo of my ID. While I understand that accommodation providers have the right to authorize funds using the card upon booking, asking for a direct transfer to a personal bank account using BSB and account number felt unprofessional and raised security concerns. Upon arrival, I was informed that the key could be collected at a nearby convenience store. Although I initially found this arrangement convenient, the gentleman at the counter asked to take a photo of my driver's license or passport before handing over the key. This additional request for personal information felt invasive and left me uncomfortable. I refused to do so as I had concerns about my personal information and its storage. The gentleman tried to convince me that it was normal practice and even scrolled through other people's identification while proving his point, which only heightened my concerns. After traveling for 4 hours with kids under 5, having only 5% battery on my phone, and it being 6 pm, I reluctantly provided my ID with some information crossed out. In summary, while the accommodation itself is excellent, the security practices and requests for personal information are problematic. I hope the hosts will address these issues to improve the overall experience for future guests.
