A beautiful house and room with the most welcoming, attentive and caring host ever. Helen supplied everything, even opened a bottle of wine for me when I arrived at 21:00. She carried my large luggage upstairs and was disappointed that I didn't want to eat dumplings and fruit salad which she prepared for the guests. She specially came home to move my luggage downstairs again! The guests have full access to use of the kitchen and food therein. There was even a new toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom!! She also supplies public transport cards to guests

Everything was above and beyond expectations. It as a beautiful and elegant home, and I could use the kitchen and dining areas as I wished. A very comfortable bed. Everything was very clean. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and very generous with meals, which was a wonderful bonus!

I had a fantastic one week stay, whilst attending a course nearby. Helen and her husband were such wonderful hosts, so kind, generous and welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom were really private and spacious. Helen's kitchen is much better equipped than my kitchen at home- it was a pleasure to cook in. I was invited to share dinner, breakfast and chinese tea a few times which was so lovely (and delicious!). I was travelling alone and grateful for the company. (If you prefer alone time/privacy, there's plenty of space!) Fab washing/drying facilities. It's a super quick walk to the tram too. I highly recommend staying here, and would definitely stay again. You hear about her beautiful fruit salad and it is everything that was promised. Helen and her family are one of the most hard working, generous and genuine people you may ever meet. If we ever return to Melbourne we will be staying there again. 😊
