I had a great stay at this hostel in Malacca. The host is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist. The place is perfect for travelers and more than that — it’s easy to meet people here because the atmosphere is so friendly. Even locals come by, which makes it a really nice and lively environment. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Malacca, especially because of its excellent location.

Amazing people! Everyone - locals mostly, but also guests - was hanging out at Layang Layang guest house together, and there even was a barbecue and party for New Year's Eve! Having friends in Malacca made my stay so much better!

Great and very very cheap hostel, particularly if you end up extending your stay. Nice billiards table and the dorm room has lots of personal space, almost like a large office cubicle. Also got invited for a food party with everyone at the hostel by the host which was fantastic, delicious and very generous. Well worth it

I have to check in at the Layang Layang guest house, they have the same reception. The persol was really kind and helpful. There was te and coffee. The bed was a single bed with wall, wich gives you more privacy. The location was fantastic!

Have your own space in the dorm. Rustic building. Balcony to dry clothes. Staff were friendly. Good value for money.

The location is the biggest advantage of this hostel. It's basically right in the centre, but still on a surprisingly quiet street. There is free tea and coffee available. The little rooftop terrace has a beautiful view.
