I was quite disappointed with my stay at Grand Swiss-Belhotel Melaka. The bedsheets and pillows had an unpleasant smell, which made the room feel less comfortable. The refrigerator also had a strong unpleasant odour, making it uncomfortable to store any food or drinks. The TV was very small, and the overall room atmosphere felt dark and gloomy. The breakfast was below average and did not meet my expectations. The hotel lobby was the only area that looked nice and welcoming. However, the parking area was in poor condition, dirty, and not well maintained.

Breakfast was average. On Monday the roti prata was hard, the dall gravy is very light as if it was the Sunday's like wise for the chicken curry. The sandwich did not taste well.

My family had 4 rooms in the hotel. The twin rooms are spacious and equipped with plug points near the bed. The concierge was friendly and counter staff were friendly on check out. Good breakfast spread.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel, but what truly stood out was the kindness and honesty of the staff. I accidentally lost my wedding ring during my stay, and the team went above and beyond to help me find it. They were patient, professional, and genuinely caring throughout the process, and thankfully the ring was recovered. The hotel was also clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with great service overall. I’m very grateful for the staff’s effort and integrity, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place that truly cares about its guests.

“A leisurely stay”

It was off peak and the hotel was relatively quiet. It was a leisure time for my family. The Premier Studio was large - plenty of space for crawling for our little one. Bathroom is clean and spacious too. The pool setting is quite lovely. As for breakfast, there were many options but we found them to be the same. We stayed for 5 nights.

We know its an old hotel and refurbished, but their work done with the room's interior was impressive. Im personally love their ID on how they mix the material, colours and the small details. Pillow were super comfy, everything was perfect inside the room.
