“A beautiful home, run by wonderful owners, with a breakfast that was a great start to the day.”
I was met at the door by my host Claude who had the garage door open ready for me to put my motorcycle away safely. A beer followed (very welcome indeed) and the house is amazing. My room and facilities were outstanding, as was breakfast, his company was great and there was even a lovely patio for an evening beer. And last but not least, it was a real home from home for me - all in all, I will be back.

“Most enjoyable. Wouldn't hesitate to return for another visit!”
Charming hosts in a superbly renovated old house house in the village of Meisenthal with a large garden and parking directly in front of the house. Three very comfortable rooms are let in the loft of an extension to the house with a separate entrance, kitchenette (water boiler, tea and coffee, and a small refridgerator). The rooms share a common bathroom and toilet, all tastefully (recently) renovated . The excellent breakfast was served in the hosts' own large kitchen with fresh pancakes, orange juice and a buffet with regional products.

I warmly recommend: very friendly, welcoming and accommodating guests, great room and amenities; everything is well thought. The breakfast was very good and fresh. We were welcomed with iced tea and madeleines, which was a plus.

“Our stay in Meisenthal was the highlight of our trip”
Jean-claude and Cathy were the perfect hosts and they attended every single one of our needs. They're also just genuinely nice people :) We arrived in the evening and were immediately invited to join them for diner. The room was very clean and we slept great. Breakfast was everything you expect from a french breakfast. Fresh croissants, confiture, eggs, french bread, cheese, etc. Everything was selfmade or fresh and above all delicious! After breakfast Jean-claude took us for a tour of the Meisenthal site, and we even got to go backstage. Tip: go in the weekend when the site is open! We will definitely be back!
