“Fantastically well equipped with conscientious owner who had though of everything”
Very warm welcome from the host, who could not have done more for us. The flat (2 double rooms, one with double bed and one with twin beds) was spotless, very well equipped, and there were lots of surprise presents - beer, sparkling water in the fridge, pots of home made jam, tickets for free entry to a museum, bikes to use, maps for walking and information for sight seeing - and then we were invited to an aperitif with her on our first evening. She also organised for us to eat in the local restaurant. Large kitchen dining room plus separate sitting room & verandah overlooking garden. She had arranged a system for us to get our choice of fresh bread and croissants delivered to the door at 6.30am - which made a brilliant breakfast. Bells from the local church were audible at 7am, 12 noon and 7pm - which was rather nice. It was a carefully done conversion of an upstairs flat. Beds were comfortable and the heating was green (air source heat pump).
