This lovingly restored country chateau was a delight to find and stay in. A period piece set in stunning grounds with a history to tell. Our hosts were helpful, friendly and attentive making our short stay all the better. Beautiful room, comfy bed and wonderful breakfast. We plan to return !

The very warm welcome from Marc and John the hosts. The attention to detail in their beautifully restored Chateau. The exceptional breakfast with delicious local produce and homemade preserves and cakes. The view from our room over the open countryside was delightful. We stayed for three nights and it was a wonderful ending to our two week holiday. It is well placed for visiting nearby Chateaus and gardens and for good routes to other parts of this area. On our final night we enjoyed a delicious dinner made by John. Overall a wonderful experience which we recommend if you want to stay in a special place.

Lovely chateau with unique but beautifully restored interior. Very quiet location. Not close to restaurants for dinner but Marc was an excellent host and offered drinks on arrival, answered our many questions about the chateau and offered great suggestions for dinner. Very extensive breakfast served in the gorgeous dining room . Strongly recommended.

“Absolutely beautiful detail and atmosphere!”

We had the best stay at Château de Breuil. The location and grounds are beautiful and the interior of the Château has been designed with a great sense of fashion, detail, and color. It's a lot of fun to explore! The beds and bathrooms were also incredibly comfortable (unusually so for a French Château). Marc welcomed us with an apéritif and we enjoyed a really good breakfast buffet in the morning. This is a place we would love to come back to - probably for a little longer next time!

Beauty, tranquility and wellbeing all come together in this breathtaking castle in the woods ! The owners are totally at your service, the rooms are extremely comfortable and contains everything you may need, the breakfast is an absolute feast. The attention to detail with which the castle has been restored and furnished is astounding ! It’s pure poetry ! We will be stopping there every time we are in the region.

An immaculate chateau exceptionally presented with such detail from the colour scheme to tea and the balance of welcoming hosts and space for guests. The breakfast was delicious with local cheese and bread and fresh homemade cakes and jam. The beds were comfortable, clean fresh crisp linen and fluffy towels ! The location was excellent for seeing the vineyards and chateaus in the Loire with options for restaurants 5miles from the property.
