Mayrhofen’s Gästehaus Hornegger is a 10-minute walk from the Penkenbahn Cable Car and a 2-minute walk from a ski bus stop. The train station on the Zillertal Railway is reachable in 10 minutes on foot. The modern, Alpine-style rooms at Gästehaus Hornegger feature rooms with a seating area and satellite TV. “Wonderful”
I had a wonderful night in this beautiful town. The room was very clean and tidy, and I slept very well. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. If I have the chance to come back again, I would definitely love to stay here once more!

Outstanding hospitality from Maria and the entire team. The rooms were super clean, renovated, very comfortable beds. Extreme flexibility provided regarding check in times and other things. Last but not least- a wonderful, tasty breakfast. Maria went out of her way to make my stay as pleasant as possible- and she succeeded!! Definitely exceeded my expectations - a place to return to.

The staff are incredibly kind, lovely, and truly passionate about what they do. You can feel that they genuinely care about their guests and always go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Everything in the hotel is spotless and fresh — from the rooms to the common areas. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is delicious. It’s clear that the hotel takes great pride in providing excellent service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

It was an amazing experience in Mayrhofen and it wouldn’t have been so without the kind people from Gastehaus Hornegger. The room was newly renovated had an impressive view to the mountains. Breakfast had a variety of meats, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, fruit. From the gastehaus we went on hikes to the Olpererhutte and other nearby huts. We will definitely come back in winter for skiing.
