“A fabulous gem of a place.”

On arrival we were met by our superb host and shown around and then taken to our rooms. The whole place was exceptionally clean, the bedroom was large bright and airy as was the en-suite. We had a fantastic meal at the restaurant next door, the staff here were wonderful and we were made to feel so welcome. We had a lovely breakfast next morning, fresh bread and pastries and great coffee. I wish we could have stayed longer, this is one of the best places that we have stayed. I will certainly be planning my nest holiday so that we can stay here longer. Can not wait to return.

The bedroom was immaculate, plenty of room, nice bed and lovely shower. Lovely continental breakfast. The owners were extremely friendly, polite and helpful.

We arrived ahead of the stated check-in time but our host spotted our presence outside and asked us to come in and check-in to our room. The hosts are friendly, accomodating and easily available, so anything you want, such as drinks after a long hot journey are readily provided. We subsequently enjoyed an excellent and value for money evening meal which had been pre arranged in advance of our visit. In addition, the hotel is close to the motorway and easily found, so an ideal stopping off point on a long journy.

We liked this friendly little auberge. It was convenient to park outside and then accommodation was basic but with a spacious bathroom. We had a lovely meal in the evening and breakfast was a typical French meal of croissant, bread, jam and orange juice and coffee. Very friendly hosts.

Pretty property, perfectly located just off the main motorway. Quiet, well maintained & exceptionally clean. Hosts are very pleasant and obliging. Off street parking. Convenient restaurant right next door serving great evening meals.

The owner was very friendly and helpful with details of potential onward travel traffic problems. The onsite restaurant was excellent (quirky) and great value for money. The owner´s wife is a baker and a very good freshly baked breakfast was provided. (included in the price of the stay).

A very warm and kind welcome with a superb dinner (catalan charcuterie) and breakfast, delicious home produced bread and vienoiseries and locally sourced products. The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet.

Excellent over night stay in Auberge Du Chene. Very comfortable and very clean. The owners are a lovely couple and go out of their way to make you very welcome. Close to motorway. Restaurant and bar next door also excellent. Great food and great service.

The Hotel is beautifully kept inside and out. The rooms are well appointed, recently decorated and kept scrupulously clean. The owners are very friendly and amenable and go out of their way to be helpful in any way they can. We have rarely experienced such a personalised approach.

The location close to the France-Spain border is very convenient, and it is easy to find. The breakfast was one of the best, the host's wife being a baker! J̌.

“Very convenient place to stay en-route France to Spain”

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. An easy overnight for me travelling from eastern France down through Spain as close to the motorway.

Very clean and comfortable room. Very nice host. The restaurant in the Auberge offers a great choice of local food for dinner.
