The restaurant was closed already by 8.15 PM. Odd situation with staff entered the room without knocking in the morning.

“The perfect spot”

Absolutely amazing experience! Such a hidden gem and would recommend to anyone visiting Austria! About a 10 min walk from lake Achensee (go for sunset the views are incredible!) And a really good base if you are heading into Pertisau for the Bärenkopf Hike! The staff were very friendly (including the hotel dog!) And the views from our room were stunning!

“Charming Hotel with a lovely view”

Lovely building which fits the beautiful scenery. Great food in the restaurant (we had breakfast and dinner) and very attentive, friendly waiting staff. The wellness are is small but cozy and offers all the basic amenities (whirlpool, sauna, infrared cabin...) and there is a small gym too. The rooms are clean and cozy and (at least ours) offer a breathtaking view of the mountain range and even Aachensee if you're lucky! A bus station is about a two minute walk away, so you don't really need a car to get around. All in all we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come again.

Hotel was very nicely located just a few steps from the lake. We liked the breakfast options and generally the facilities.

“Staying in the rainy Achensee during the summer”

Hotel is located very close to the Achensee so you can easily reach walking paths around the lake while it is also close to the center of this small place and you can choose to go in some of the restaurants which are pretty good or you can do some shopping in Spar, if you need some groceries. Rooms are wide enough; there is a big closet so you can unpack your stuff easily. Balcony is pretty nice and is large enough and you can enjoy the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains from them, if your room faces that side. The bathroom has everything you need.

Perfect breakfast and dinners, 2 waitresses spoke czech. Cleaning of room included new towels every day. Owner has warm and open approach to each guest. Family atmosphere.

The standard of this hotel as the room equipment, a view, nice wood details are on the level of 4* stars. If there is a small coffee machine then it is top. Basically the room consists of 2 smaller rooms, this is what I liked the most. But our price was on the level of 4* hotel, however we booked only a night before, so that is fair. The breakfast is rich and tasty. There are many parking places, but when you come late, it might be challenging.

This was so fantastic! My first time in Austria and this place beside of super well located (you can literally walk 10min to the lake), it has the perfect mix of traditional and comfy! The rooms are spacious, with an amazing balcony with breathtaking view (at least for some like me that is not used to mountains) and furniture (so you can enjoy the sun from your room). The bed was the best I slept in ages! The rooms were quite. The spa was more than we were expecting, so a pleasant surprise. The restaurant also impressed us, by the varied choice and the quality of the meals. You can have really traditional local dishes. Interesting buffet options available. We have booked hotel+dinner+breakfast and it was certainly great value for money! I would highly recommend and we will stay again there next time !

The hotel is in a very good location - close to a bus stop with connections to Jenbach railway station, near the Rofseilbahn-Station and the lake Achensee. A nice room and lovely wellness facilities. The inside of the hotel is very intricately decorated and reflects the local surrounding.
