Overview
Set on the banks of the Thamalakane River, The Maun Studios offers accommodation within 7 km of the Maun Airport. Free WiFi and parking are provided. Our two bespoke 54msq studios, with either extra length king or twin 3/4 beds, have en-suite bathrooms and well-equipped kitchens. Breakfast is served at our thatched boma which overlooks the Thamalakane River and its abundant birdlife. The Maun Studios Guests can enjoy scenic walks along the river, outdoor splash-pool & birding from the comfort of your deck Airport transfers & restaurant reservations can be booked with advance notice

“Beautiful gardens and location near the town”
The gardens are beautiful and the studio room is big and comfortable with high quality amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Large fridge and mosquito net over the bed. Good shower with lots of treated water. Good facilities for b-b-q. The owners are very nice and would provide you with excellent information and advice about the town and the region.

“The loveliest hospitable family we’ve ever met”
Beautiful gardens, gorgeous studio. Peaceful spot for relaxing and birdwatching. The nicest family run property we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. The hospitality they gave to us was above and beyond what one could hope for. even when dropping us off at the airport, the owner walked us inside to ensure we had no issues checking in.

“I loved my stay at Maun Studios!”
This was a perfect and a wonderfully serene last night for my trip to Africa. I was welcomed like a family member and the intimate property was just beautiful (flowers, river view, room size, quality details). Really appreciated how easy the owners made it for me to get around (airport, dinner logistics, air reservation assistance, etc.). Breakfast was delightful by the river, and I appreciated the effort made to meet my special dietary needs. I'd go back in a heartbeat!!

Breakfast was wonderful. The hosts were gracious and helpful. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. We were coming off a 9 day mobile safari, so the comfy bed and shower were welcome!

We had an incredible stay at Maun Studios. The garden is a haven for relaxation, the room was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Sarah, Rocky and Margaret couldn't have been nicer and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
