“Very pleasant and kind staff”

The staff was incredibly nice, very helpful in all kinds of way and took all the time necessary to help us. The room was very clean, the futons comfortable, the bathroom was a private onsen which was really nice!! The food is very nice, the dinner is simple to order with a menu in English and they are very kind to help; the food arrives quickly and is tasteful. The breakfast is very good (we had the Japanese style one), and is very complete. My girlfriend had fallen ill before we arrived, and seeing it didn't pass, we seeked tonsee a doctor. The staff took time to point us to a local clinic where the doctor spoke English, and we ended up with all the medicine we needed. Very grateful for them to have helped us so! We had no time to try the larger onsen of the hotel, but many people seemed to come to enjoy it without being guests of the hotel, which is a good sign! Thanks again for everything!

Amazing location and view on the beach. Both the public Onsen and the one in the room were really nice.

Very charming and cozy hotel. Amazing view from the window, private onsen. Very tasty food - we had both dinner and breakfast. The hotel and the city surroundings had a very nostalgic feeling.

The baths

Everything...old tv in room had no hdmi...let me borrow one from restaurant so I could use my phone. Nice food ... lovely friendly staff...onsen in room with sea view was fab

nice and simple set breakfast at the cafe overseeing the beautiful scenery. Enjoyed immensely the private onsen which was quite large. Room was comfortable and relaxing view facing the sea. there was a nice restaurant closeby with a good selection/choice of food. The sashimi was super fresh.

Amazing place. We didn’t except that. Super hotel by the see with an amazing view on Seto Inland Sea. Room in Japanese style with private onsen. Super! The staff is very kind. There is the possibility to leave the luggage there before the check-in!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great to have our own big onsen bath with the ocean view. The public onsen downstairs was very popular too. The view was interesting with constant passing ships. We had good value tasty dinners downstairs in the restaurant.

“Tranquil, Japanese onsen hotel by the sea with great baths”

Authentic Japanese onsen hotel by the sea. We appreciated both our private bath and large public bath with several pools indoors and outdoors. Location is further away from busy Matsuyama city and we enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere of Hojo area.

This is a place with a lovely sea view, a balcony for air-drying clothes, a generous shower area and a very large private bath. As it's a bathhouse, there is an even larger open-air public bath, with a cafeteria and store selling local vegetables and fruit.
