Very nice place in the mountain. Unfortunately did not have time to see some of the nice place around there.

If you are after an experiential stay, this is your place. Lovely home-like feel, generous hosts, in a relaxed environment with mainly Japanese hikers and a few other foreigners. Lovely bakery on site too!

Everything.. big bathtub — similar to public onsen that can be reserved for your family.. A smell of bakery with relaxable music when I was on massage chair made a remarkable memory :) The owners are friendly with hospitality. The lady owner’s English is very good; very easy to communicate. She also provided great suggestion on nearby attractions :) Truly recommend this great valuable price B&B to everyone:)

The best host you could ask for. Room was very comfortable and the bath was very good after a day cycling in the rain.

Very hospitable hosts. One of the few places with a truly unique atmosphere. We stayed there during bad weather, but even then, spending the day reading a book and enjoying green tea felt wonderfully cozy and memorable.

Comfiest, loveliest, kindest stay in a long time. This place exceeded our expectations, with the gorgeous location by the river, the friendly owner, the relaxing onsen, and the comfortable beds. I wish I could live here full time!

We had a lovely stay here, for a fraction of the price of other hotels or ryokan in the area. The owners are lovely and you can tell that the place is a labour of love - from the bedrooms to the shared areas to the bathing facilities (not technically onsen as not fed by a hot spring, but easily as nice as an onsen and perfect to warm up after a day out in the snow) and the sauna, which the owner ordered from Finland and assembled by hand. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place and base for hiking in Norikura Kogen. Rie and her family are super helpful. We love the common spaces, the backyard and the hot bath! Their place is so homey and, smells delicious because they have a bakery. I just love the Ten Gallon Hat and I will definitely come back! NOTE: This place accepts credit card but the eating places dont so.bring enough cash for.food and the bus.

Our Hosts were extremely kind! They were helpful and gave us a lot of useful information. They even gave us a lift to our next accomodation. Very nice and cozy mountain house, beautifully decorated. Our room was clean and tidy, with the nice view of the forest. The sounds of running water coming from the stream behind the house were very relaxing. Very good value for money!

Very good hotel in the mountain ! Perfect for a one-night stopover during a trip to the Japanese Alps. The rooms are comfortable and offer a view of the forest. The hotel's plus points are its private Jacuzzi and sauna (please note that reservations are required for the latter).
