Nice staff and great location

“Perfect accommodation to stay in Matsumoto”

It was very neat, we had a choice of the bedroom that could house the 4 of us as well as the futon beds. Very spacious, the kitchen had everything and the owner even provided welcome chocolates and sweets for us!! Really love the accommodation and it was our favourite. We were confused about the hot water bath halfway but the owner came within 5 minutes to help us!! Very efficient and fast. Also, he provided free Netflix to watch and we enjoyed our 3 nights there. Would definitely book this accoms if we’re back at Matsumoto. Was a short 8 mins walk straight from Matsumoto station with a 7-11 just across the street

It was soooo great ! The kids loved the "upstairs" beds, the japanese room is very spacious and so beautiful. We enjoyed this place a LOT. We loved all the little drawings and explanations left everywhere by the owner ;-). It's very well fitted, and the location is great, so close from the castle, the station...everything. Highly recommended.

Excellent apartment, large, comfortable, well-equipped and-crucially-with excellent short instructions in English for the different appliances. The three-level bunk-bed is fun and very solid. The air conditioning works really well. The tatami room adds authenticity. Although the staff was very discrete, we were more than pleased with them: they always answered very promptly to messages and facilitated us receiving our suitcases which we had sent with the luggage service seamlessly. We very much enjoyed and highly recommend this apartment

Location is good. Free parking very close to property. It is very clean and fully equipped in kitchen.

Rooms were comfy, alot of instructions in English provided to guide the travellers, very cosy. location is great and parking provided helped a lot.

Nikai was a great find. So well stocked with everything you need to self cater. Location was fantastic, everything within an easy walk. Check in and out really easy!

Fantastic accommodation for a family of four. The place has everything you need, with helpful explanations in English. The location could not better. Easy walk to the station and great access to restaurants and tourist destinations, like the castle. So much room for Japanese accommodation too! Highly recommended.

Very convenient location in between station and castle. Extremely clean, everything you need and labelled clearly including cute cat drawings! Loved the traditional Japanese futon room and cool 3 storey bedroom!

All facilities are clean and tidy. The labels as instructions are clear and lovely with hand drawn cute cats! The apartment is very spacious with a living room and bedroom. There are also enough utilities eg garbage bags, utensils etc. The location is also convenient that it is between the JR station and the castle. The host is also very friendly with prompt reply! They let us store our luggage after check out, very nice!

Accommodation was clean and comfortable, 7-11 was close by, Matsumoto Castle was walking distance. Check in and out was smooth and easy.

This place was cute, comfortable, clean, and cozy. Check in and check out were a breeze. The host was very generous and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived early, and after we checked out for a few hours to accommodate our train schedules. This is a great location, just 10 min walk from the train station and right off the canal. The interior was extremely spacious (especially compared to our small hotel rooms in Osaka/Tokyo). We stayed here with 3 adults but could have comfortably fit several more. Everything was clearly labeled so it was easy to move about the house. Host was responsive to messages on Booking.com and over e-mail. Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to friends traveling to Japan later this year.
