“A delight of curry”

The smell of curry spice in the morning, the kindness of Atsu the owner, the simple but cosy rooms, and the cuisine of the restaurant ! It's really convenient to have a restaurant in the same place that offers good cooking ! The hotel was quiet and cosy.

The host was super nice and friendly, and also a wonderful chef. Even though we only stayed two nights, we felt very rested and comfortable. We would like to thank the host for the apples he gave us to enjoy on the road, they were delicious!

Best value for money for our trip so far. Bathroom was advanced and functional. Beds comfy so we slept well. Our host was gracious and welcoming.

We stayed here while visiting the Japanese Alps. Atsu was really friendly and helped us out a lot. We had to check in a bit later due to delays and also had a last minute diner during our stay. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious. Really good curry, and was able to accommodate my wife with a gluten free meal for her (celiac). And we also got some really good advice for food for our next stay :). Thanks Atsu!

This hotel is located in a beautiful location close to the start of the Tateyama Alpine trail. 30 mins by car. The owner is a really sweet and considerate gentleman. We had dinner in the restaurant. Nice curry dishes. The room was comfortable with an impeccably clean ensuite bathroom. We stayed in a twin room and the beds were really comfortable. I will definitely stay again in the future.

The staff was lovely, we had dinner at the restaurant there- indian style, and it was delicious! The owner made everything to order and we had a great time. Atsu was so nice and welcoming! Relatively close to Matsumoto and Nagano, but great if you look for a peaceful and quiet location

Friendly and personalised service from Atzu who is the owner and chef. Rare to see a local Japanese preparing naan and curry dishes using spices from south asia. Dinner was delicious. Room was basic with private toilet and bath. Take the hair and body wash from the common counter along the corridor. Great value for money and good location.

“Good place to stay for the night”

The food is great and the innkeeper is very nice. We had a minor medical problem and he helped us by calling a hospital, translating and arranging a visit. The beds were a bit too soft.

Super friendly host and great food for dinner and breakfast. If we will have a possibility, we will come back once more on our trip back to Tokyo.

Kindest host, yummy real food and bar with a fireplace downstairs, great for English speaking travellers as the host, Atsu lived in Australia and is an awesome host and cook. He was so kind to me, I had my partner in hospital nearby, not only did he sort my luggage for me, he cooked me dinner, helped with luggage back to the hospital and gave me a lift. Atsu is the best, we’ll be back for sure.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, the owner cooks amazing food and took excellent care of us. He even showed us around town as we didn’t have a car, told us a bit about the towns history and was kind enough to take us to the train station when we left. 10/10 will be coming back if I get the chance!

We were warmly welcomed and shown to our rooms. The entire house and both of our rooms were very beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The A/C worked nicely and it was very quiet during the night. It is located right next to a canal and wide fields. The rooms are large enough to let you stow your luggage next to the beds. The owner was very friendly and explained everything. He went out of his way to serve us and make us comfortable. He offered a very tasty Indian-inspired breakfast for a reasonable price and was just great. By the way: even though we already had dinner when we arrived, I wish I could have tasted his Indian cooking, because from the smell from the kitchen (in the restaurant area, not the rooms) I could tell that his cooking must be very authentic!
