High in the Hohe Tauern Mountains, Gästehaus Zedlacherhof offers self-contained units with balconies overlooking the Virgen Valley. Pine-wood finishings and a balcony with panoramic views are featured in each apartment. Satellite TV and DVD players are provided for in-room entertainment, and a fully equipped kitchenette is available. Zeldlacherhof offers free ski storage with boot dryers, and a small library to relax after a day on the slopes. There are also a sun terrace and barbecue facilities for the summer months. The shops of Matrei’s city centre are about 4.5 km away. Gästehaus Zedlacherhof Hotel offers free private parking for guests arriving by car.

If u plan for zell am see, grossglockner high alpine road and staller sattel pass to cross to italy, then this is the best hotel, best location as a base.

“Nice and cosy”
We just stayed one night, less than 12 hrs. It was a last-minute booking. We arrived late and could get the key ourselves as arranged by reception. Everything worked well. The apartment is standard but clean and comfortable. Nice view. Nice kitchenette. Great value for money.

“A wonderful guesthouse in the mountains”
The room was spotlessly clean. The owner was very friendly, messaged us with and important information so that we don't stay hungry in the evening. The surrouding mountains and nature are simply stunning. A great stay for people who need a little peace and quiet.

“Hidden Gems in Matrei”
Perfect stay in the private hotel on the top. It’s easy way not so far from the city, Spar Billa or Ski. The way very quiet. Everything perfect. We had a beautiful location on the mountain in Zedlach and easy for quality dinner near hotel. The owner very friendly. The good atmosphere start new year in 2025 :)

It was possible to park the motorcycle in the garage at no extra charge. Quiet surroundings. 50 meters away restaurant. Great view from the window. Private parking at the hotel. capsule coffee machine.
