Surrounded by the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park, Café Landerl is located in Huben in East Tyrol, 8 km from Matrei and the Kals-Großglockner Ski Area. The traditional café includes a sun terrace with panoramic mountain views. “A place like coming home”
breakfast was rich with all you like ( ham, sausages, cheese, eggs, butter, marmelade and honey) coffee, tea orange juce and crispy rolls. The landlady never lets anyone go hungry. The rooms are small but perfectly designed and furnished with spruce furniture. The mattresses are new and back-friendly. The bathrooms are maximally shrunk ( but functional) and equipped with care products.

“Beautiful stop over”
What a beautiful location, in a quiet peaceful village. Helpful proprietor, told us where to get a meal. Room with a balcony (shared). Excellent breakfast.

We needed to pay cash even if we booked it via platform. Was verry inconvenient, also we needed to pay extra 10 euro for a tax or something like that. The location was ok, and the bathrooms were very small. Breakfast was good, and coffee was excellent. We were there with motorcycles.

breakfast friendly staff We traveled on motorbikes, it was possible to put them under the roof overnight into "garage" (however the garage was little bit messy and cannot be closed).

“Cafe Landerl”
This place was a nice little rest stop. My husband and I were driving upto Salzburg and stayed here for one night when we visited Austria.Bed was very comfortable and the woman that we were dealing with was lovely and extremely friendly.
