“Could be better.”
Most staff plreasant. Rasheed and Mosse very helpful. Good security. Good trips arranged by the mentioned staff.. Swimming with dolphins was a special event. Beach very close. Pool clean. A few better restaurants and hotels nearby. We liked the concept that profits from resort funded a nearby school.

“A paradise in Zanzibar”
Such a beautiful hotel with unbelievably helpful staff. Even though we booked this place last minute, the staff managed to get us into a beautiful room until morning. The beach is so beautiful and clean. Thank you for everything. I'm truly coming back.

“We felt lucky to find this place. We had initially booked 2 night but extended and stayed 5. We didnt want to leave! We”
The property was beautiful, in a calm and serene location. Direct access to the beach. It was just idyllic. Lovely breakfast, friendly staff and a wonderful manager.

We were met by members of staff on arrival who quickly got us checked in. The room was lovely and the pool perfect. The location was amazing. The owners were wonderful and hospitalable and knowing you stay funds the local school if a bonus. Our favourite place we’ve stayed in Zanzibar.

Tamani Villas was great. The room I booked was clean and had everything I needed. The employees were extremely nice and helped me to move around on the island and organized great tours for me. Special thanks go to Zayna, Rashid and Muhammad. The food prepared freshly by the Tamani Villas' chef was very tasteful and priced fairly. The wonderful beach can be reached within one minute. There you have comfortable sunbeds and a security employee who keeps beachboys/sellers away from disturbing guests. I also recommend everybody to visit the Tamani Foundation which is only three minutes from Tamani Villas.

“Amazing place!”
We liked everything here, especially the wonderful vegetation around, the path to the beach, the serene athmosfere. They also serve delicious food, we ate here every day at lunch. The room and the common areas are very clean. Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Also, the beach in Matemwe is so nice! I would definitively come here again. Huge thanks to the all team at Tamani.

I love everything in the villa. The vibe was great. The staff are amazing and super friendly and always helpful 😀 Matemwe is my favourite spot on the island. It's tranquil but accessible to some good restaurants 😋

“For those who enjoy a small and more personal place to stay, it’s perfect. The beach too, is more peaceful than further”
It’s small and quiet just back from the beach and close to the village. Set in lush gardens, everything is well maintained and rooms spacious and well appointed. The staff are lovely, food exceptional and far better value than nearby restaurants. Pool is gorgeous for low tide swims. Fabulous ‘proper’ coffee! This is surprisingly difficult to find in Tanzania. I visited the school and it’s good to see the partnership between tourism and community.

“Don’t hesitate and just book it!”
You enter an oasis of peace and relaxation. The rooms are large (with a Queen size bed), close to a warm pool. There is a small road that leads to the white sandy beach (30 second walk). It’s a beautiful hotel with friendly staff.

We had an amazing time in Tamani Hotel! The hotel looks like paradise and is only a few steps away from the beach. The food was also very yummie. The hotel organized very nice trips for us: We were for example able to swim with dolphins ❤️❤️

“A Family-Friendly Haven Near the Beach!”
We had a really nice time at Mohammed’s hotel. The beach was super close, the staff was really friendly, and the food was yummy. There was a cool upper place where you could do yoga or work and see the sea. We had so much fun! We could relax and enjoy the sunshine. This place is great for families.
