The pool was very nice, and the garden was beautiful. I can say the breakfast was decent. There’s an amazing terrace, and it’s a very peaceful place. I liked it quite a lot — it wasn’t a bad place at all.

Hotel Haber felt like a true paradise oasis to us. The owners are always present and go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible stay. The staff is perfectly trained, incredibly friendly, and highly attentive. A meal full of fruit and fish and other healthy food turned us into completely different people in just a few days. The kitchen in the hotel is truly unique. While some might see not being directly on the beach as a disadvantage, we found it to be a huge plus! The hotel provides a car at your disposal to take you to various surrounding beaches, meaning you aren't limited to just one spot but get to experience different beaches every day. We are already looking forward to returning to Hotel Haber. Hakuna Matata!

“A great spot to relax for a couple of days”

Our room was spacious with a separate seating area and lots of space to put our things. The bathroom was also large. The pool, gardens, rooftop eating area, pool and bar were lovely and very clean. Food was excellent, very fresh, superbly cooked and presented. The staff were all great, very friendly and helpful.

Haber Hotel and SPA is a wonderful hotel managed by Polish couple Cris and Kasia. It's super clean, spacious, and up to European standards. After travelling for a while, I'd say this is one of the best hotels in Zanzibar! The food is absolutely delicious with a great breakfast variety, all cooked fresh and presented nicely 😋. Kasia and Cris are amazing hosts - they'll do anything to make your stay pleasant and help you enjoy your holiday. They'll sort you out with anything you need, help organise trips, and give top-notch advice. The staff speak English and Polish. There's a lovely beach nearby ( less than 10 min walk) and the hotel's got a clean pool and Jacuzzi. Don't look anywhere else, this is the place to be if you want a safe and great holiday! We had a fantastic holiday and I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax and have a blast in a clean, safe, friendly place with African vibes.

We had a lovely stay in the deluxe double room with a balcony – really spacious and comfortable, with a gorgeous view over the garden and pool. The bathroom was well thought out with plenty of shelves and hooks, and the open wardrobe in the room was a nice touch. The garden itself was stunning – the owners grow their own fruit, which added a really special feel to the place. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh fruit platter, pastries and bread with spreads, plus a different fresh juice each morning alongside tea or coffee. Eggs were available too – scrambled, poached, however you liked. Everything felt fresh and varied day to day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Having a car was handy as it gave us more flexibility to explore nearby beaches.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The food was exceptional — definitely a 10+. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us organize all our trips exactly the way we wanted. The pool area and garden are beautiful and very relaxing, a perfect spot to unwind. The nearby Muyuni Beach is also fantastic and well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Amazing oasis in Matemwe

A beautiful spot for your next stay in Zanzibar! The hosts were hospitable and made you feel very welcome as soon as you stepped through the door. The facilities and amenities were fantastic, and best of all was the food! The food was delicious and a must for anyone staying. The restaurant is also open to guests from outside the hotel. I highly recommend Haber for your stay in Zanzibar.

The property has a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere; we loved the roof top restaurant where we enjoyed our incredible daily breakfasts and delicious evening meals. The hotel is surrounded by greenery, it is a very quiet location, with the main sound coming from birds! I liked the size of the hotel, with about 12 rooms in total, so an intimate setting where you felt personally known. It is a very short walk to the beach, about 5 minutes, and it is also close to the dive centre we used to do our open water course. Basically, a perfect place!

“A great choice on this side of the island”

A beautiful resort-type hotel in a boutique style (small and private), which offers more than the others. The arrangement of the hotel's exterior with various types of fruit trees offers a glimpse into a part of the world that many tourists would not otherwise get to know. Passion fruit, bananas, mangoes, almonds, papayas and other species grow there. You can also use the private beach and sun loungers of the nearby hotel, which you can reach in a few minutes on foot, or if you take the provided shuttle a little further, you can enjoy the beauty of Muyuni beach (we liked this one better than Matemwe), in front of which sandbanks are also forming. You can also meet their beloved dog and cats at the accommodation. We used the very nice pool, sun loungers in the shadow of the trees and beach volleyball the most, but they offer several other things (e.g. bike rental, excursions) and board games. There are also many books to read if you don't have your own. The food (breakfast included or additional lunch/dinner offer) is excellent. The hosts are very friendly and willing to help.
