Stunning property right by Devinuwara Beach with gorgeous sea views. The villa is beautiful, the pool area lovely, and the staff were wonderful and accommodating. We enjoyed spotting wildlife around the property. Breakfast was great and the overall ambiance was relaxing and peaceful. A fantastic base for exploring southern Sri Lanka.

“Beautiful Boutique Experience at Beacon by The Villas”
Our stay at Beacon by The Villas was truly exceptional. This is a stunning boutique hotel with beautiful design, elegant details, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The service was absolutely wonderful from the very beginning. A very special thank you to Himal, the hotel manager, who helped us organize everything even before we arrived in Sri Lanka and during our stay on the island. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our trip smooth and stress-free from the start. We are also extremely grateful for arranging the safest driver in Sri Lanka for us – if you stay here, make sure to ask for Mr. P! We felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout our travels. The entire team was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Beacon by The Villas is a perfect choice if you’re looking for a stylish, peaceful, and well-managed boutique hotel experience. Highly recommended!

“Great views but not a 5 star hotel”
There is a lot to like about the Villa but it’s important to understand this is more like an AirBnB with “butler” service and is definitely not a 5 star hotel (as described online). The views are stunning (you do have to look through the garden to the sea from the lower rooms). The rooms and bathrooms are huge. The bed is very comfortable. The main guest area was spotlessly clean, as was the Pelican room. Our “butler” was very friendly and constantly asked if all was OK with our stay. The food was delicious, we loved the breakfast and the complimentary afternoon pancakes and tea. It is 20min by Tuk Tuk away from some stunning beaches. The WiFi was very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but felt the price was too high for the reasons below.

The location was absolutely amazing......I loved everything from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s such a picturesque spot, perfect for photoshoots and videography, with its beautiful beach and stunning natural pool... I’ve already recommended this place to one of my friends who’s planning a small destination wedding because it’s truly that beautiful. Everything about it exceeded my expectations, and I honestly can’t wait to visit again.

“Relaxation & Comfort Lover”
Everything here was on point..from the crisp linens to the gourmet-style meals and the spotless pool area. You can tell they’ve thought of every detail to make the stay special. The service felt personalized, and the whole property had a boutique luxury vibe. Easily one of the best stays I’ve ever had in Sri Lanka.
