“Lovely stay and lovely hostess”
Large comfortable room with all amenities such as coffee, microwave, fridge, comfortable side chair, and desk. Pre-check in email was full of information re local restaurant recommendations and things to do and see in Matane. Michelle was very helpful and friendly. Ability to have breakfast on site (note: for additional cost). The breakfast was a 3 course meal and delicious.

Beautiful historical home. Our host was friendly, welcoming and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to see and do. We really appreciated Sonja's speaking English for us. Our room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable and it came with a little kitchenette. Accommodation was within walking distance of several restaurants as well. Some select restaurants give discounts if you stay at Auberge Bruine Oceane. We were provided with a beautiful homemade breakfast as well.

“I told the other people I met the next day that the inn was the best hidden treat in Matane”
Absolutely fantastic location. The room was perfect and the bathroom (shower, spa) were the best. The colour scheme was sophisticated and relaxing. The bed was ten out of ten. Since I was off season, the inn did not offer breakfast but the room could have been used to prepare light meals .
