This is an exceptional hotel. The attention to detail by the staff, the ambience the location and the beauty of the rooms is outstanding. The restaurant also has a great chef, a really interesting selection on the Menu. We will definitely visit again

The minute you leave your parked car to walk to the Chateau , the magnificence of the grounds and its art is only too apparent. The ambience of the chateau in our opinion has never been equalled Then you have the calm space in which to explore. All of this can only be achieved by terrific staff who can deliver service with great compassion and humour. Finally. If one then has to end praise , let it be to food and drink. Chef provides exciting menus and at this point I must mention George, our sommelier, who advised on perfect accompaniments for our food.

Gorgeous property, really lovely staff, and our room was beautiful. The beautiful pool and the bike ride around the property were highlights, and there was lots to do for both kids and adults. We’d love to stay again!

It really was the most magical place and the facilities are incredible. The Michelin-starred restaurant is excellent, and the views over the lake are breathtaking. Go for a little bike ride around the grounds. 5 Stars from me.

The property is stunning in a beautiful setting. It certainly had the wow factor. We were made to feel very special on arrival and the restaurant ambience was truly special. It felt like an escape from all the stresses of the real world! The decor is fantastic!

“Exquisite, elegant, romantic and luxurious”
The Donaine is set in the most incredible chateau and grounds. It is renovated to the highest of standards with a contemporary feel. Every single detail is perfect. The room was large more like a suite in the chateau itself with the most spectacular view of the lake. The bedding and pillows are so incredibly soft and the staff cater to your every whim. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
