“Wonderful mountain retreat”

We had an amazing stay at B&B Gronda. The rooms are clean, cool and comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains and forests from the window and access to a natural pool right in front of the b&b ideal for cooling down after a hike in the Apuan alps or a day exploring Massa. The road in front is generally quiet and at night you only hear the calming sounds of the mountain river. Ideal location for people keen to explore the Apuan Alps. Coming by car is recommended as public transportation is very limited and there are few facilities in walking distance. The owners of the B&B are very kind and patient and love to share their passion for the beautiful region and went above and beyond to my our 5 day stay the best.

Beautiful place, the host was very friendly, helpfull, provided many informations about tourist trails. Accomodation was very clean, nice and modern equiped. Possibility to sunbath in the beautiful river.

Good location to go to the mountains. Beautiful river nearby.The room was very spacious, the bathroom as well. Everything is equipped very comfortably and very stylish. The owner is ready to help with everything, very nice person. Breakfast is basic but sufficient.

This B&B is a real gem. It is conveniently located for multiple great hiking routes. The interior is tasetful, clean and just comfortable. The owner family is super nice and always available to make great suggestions about what to do.

Beautiful rooms and structure, make you feel like home. Perfect stay if you follow Via Vandelli. The host is very kind and available to help.

Despite our late arrival, Riccardo was there to welcome us and made a reservation for us at a restaurant nearby to make sure that we could still enjoy dinner. We left early in de morning, but Riccardo had already prepared breakfast for us. We could not imagine a more friendly and helpfull host! The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. We may come back one day to stay longer and enjoy the surrounding.

This B&B is the perfect little hideaway. There is not a single negative that comes to mind after staying there. The host is very kind and accommodating to any needs and loves to talk about the local history and geology. The rooms have a view of the creek and the mountains at the same time and within minutes you can be on several trails in the Apuan Alps. During our stay Riccardo gave us an such an amazing experience that is extremely rare these days and I cannot recommend it enough

A lovely bed&breakfast in one of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany and surrounded by nature. Riccardo was so lovely and helpful, made us feel comfortable and welcomed despite the language barrier and made sure we had the vegan breakfast we asked for :) The location is great for sightseeing in the area the room was beautiful, well designed and the bed was super comfortable. Thank you!
