“Gorgeous resort in relaxing setting”

The resort is located in the middle of the jungle without missing a high comfort. Relaxing with nature sounds makes is absolutely stunning. We also liked the trip to Lamanai which is sort of an adventure. The hotels restaurant serves delicious food and the staff is extraordinary friendly. We highly recommend a stay at Abezza!

A very unique property set in the most amazing rainforest and gardens. The staff were very friendly and they could not have done enough for us. The food is all prepared on the property and delicious.

Breakfast was great! The many outdoor seating areas were wonderful. Guided forest walk was great. Mid massage was wonderful! Very unique resort in a forested area with large yoga room - but no yoga classes. Mats were available there and a beautiful serene environment for yoga!

“A hidden gem in the jungle for complete relaxation”

I can’t say enough good things about this resort. Staying here feels like you are in paradise. Melanie, the owner, and everyone working there are so attentive, caring and try to fulfill each of your wishes. They take care of so many small details that make your stay just perfect. There are not too many rooms, so it never feels crowded in the pool or in the restaurant. You can order room service or pool service for every meal, and purified water is for free. At Christmas Eve Melanie even handed out little gift bags for every guest. Yes the resort is in a remote place but it feels luxurious as they have everything you need, incl a Spa, WiFi and Netflix in your rooms, and day trips if you want to get out and explore. The lovely decoration and colorful lights on the property in the middle of the jungle give it a magical feel. Every day I found another small detail and I couldn’t stop taking pictures. If you want to disconnect and relax, this is the place for it!

The resort and facilities are very wonderfully embedded in the surrounding nature, with even a simple walk from your room to the restaurant taking you through winding paths thick with trees, plants and flowers, and at night you can see the stars wherever you go. The staff were very helpful for booking trips and planning our stay, there was a wide variety of activities on offer from the onsite spa and the surrounding area is packed with cultural and historical sites to visit. We would particularly recommend the Couples Mood Mud massage, a truly unforgettable experience! The dinner menus were very good, with multiple specials changing every day keeping it fresh and exciting.

Melanie and her team were fantastic. The hotel was very luxurious- two pools, plenty of tours available, top notch food, a great room. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Mud baths, primitive Belizean sculpture strewn about the grounds, wonderful swimming pools and mineral baths, wait staff, other worldliness, thorough exotica, bird sanctuary and bird watching platforms, rich colors, rum punch, the food was truly delightful and prepared to order for hours before out arrival at the dinner table. Solitude.

Amazing stay! Off the beaten track, quiet during off season, the hotel is located in a jungle oasis, surrounded by a wonderful mix of palm trees, huge monsteras, pothos, and other exotic plans. We spent 3 relaxing days here, just by the pool, or playing ping-pong, or eating :) Totally recommend the 90min aromatherapy message.

“Very special hotel with great facilities”

We had a very comfortable room, great food, beautiful swimming pools and good spa. This is a family run hotel and you have the feel of being a guest in someone's home - everything is designed to perfection by people who live there. We loved exploring the hotel and all the different spaces around the grounds to chill out in. We also did a medicinal plants tour around the grounds and saw toucans. We were looking for a couple of nights of 'jungle luxury' whilst on a longer trip in Belize and a base to visit Lamanai from and this hotel gave us exactly that.

Hotel territory is very nice and clean. True jungle feeling. Good looking pool area, trees, authentic gym, basketball court table tennis. Local village called Maskall and its people were amazing. Really enjoyed going there. Host Melanie was friendly and helpful.
