Overview
Situated on the shores of Marsh Lake (35 minutes from Whitehorse Airport), this quaint lodge features views of Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. It offers kayaking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and an on-site restaurant for guests. Each guest room at Inn on the Lake includes rustic furnishings and a private bathroom. Select apartments boast a kitchen or balcony. Dinner is offered every night, with one seating of a gourmet 3 course meal. Reservations are necessary. A outdoor hot tub, free bicycle, canoe, kayak and snowshoe rental are all included at Inn on the Lake. Downtown Whitehorse and Whitehorse Airport are a 35 minute drive from the Yukon Inn on the Lake Lodge.

“Loved it!”
Beautiful property by the lake. Quiet and secluded but still plenty to do. We had a cute little log cabin, the meals were fabulous and the workers were so friendly and knowledgeable and were willing to help out with anything you asked. Definitely worth staying here. Even got to see the northern lights!!

The location was amazing, right on the lake! We stayed in the Aurora Sun Cottage and it was very charming and comfortable. The staff were fantastic and super friendly.

“Beautiful Lodge with Great Experiences, but Some Drawbacks to Consider”
The lodge was beautiful, with tasteful furniture and interior design. It was very clean and well-equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there every night, and it was amazing with perfectly balanced portions—not too much, not too little. Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were available for free 24 hours. The lodge is located near Marsh Lake, where we enjoyed walking while watching the beautiful sunset.

An unusual, very beautiful accommodation in the middle of nowhere, that delighted us. Our suite was luxurious. Dinner was a highlight. Very friendly staff. The location on the lake is wonderful.

“I want to go back... TODAY!”
This was the best place we have ever stayed!!! For the same price we paid for a room in other locations on our four-week Alaska/Yukon Territory road trip, we stayed in a gorgeous, log cabin-style suite with two bedrooms, living room, dining area, winter garden, private entrance onto the large house deck overlooking Marsh lake: The Presidential Suite with 92 m2. Every detail is amazing! The property boasts rental bikes, kayak (free), private seating down by the lake, a pool table… Our gourmet chef prepared exquisite meals both evenings (more than worth the reasonable price for three courses. Reserve in advance). Dinner conversations with other guests were stimulating and invigorating. What can I say? Martha Stewart stayed here. We felt like royalty. If you are ever in the neighborhood, do not miss this one – just 52.6 kilometers from Whitehorse.

Dinner was wonderful. I didn't think that it would be a group table, however, in the end this was not a problem. We had good conversations about travel. We saw the Northern Lights from our bedroom window! We had a hot tub and fire.

“Highly recommended!”
What a welcome! When I booked the place for just 1 night, I knew I was going to regret it. And I did! The location is wonderful, the place itself is superb. I didn't get to have dinner with them, but I did have breakfast (not included). I think the scrambled eggs were the best I have ever had. Thank you for making this too short stay unforgettable! Highly recommended! (My pictures are not of the best quality to represent the beauty of the room)

Enjoy for yourself the entire left wing of the lodge. Enjoy the private solarium and its direct access to the main deck. Get inspired by the scenic outlooks on Marsh Lake and the surrounding mountains. The inimitable ambience of the log interior will leave its mark on you. One of the rooms has views of the gardens and aurora, the other side of the lake. The bathroom has two showers, one with a private steam room. Pets are permitted in this suite. A pet fee applies per pet.
