The location is near perfect! Its a few minutes walk of the heart of marseille so it comes with all those benefits while having the benefit of being in a relatively quiet neighbourhood. Neighbourhood seemed safe and was built a little bit higher up. The area on on its own also is very charming with small shops of that area just as near as the centre and give a very pleasant vibrent atmosphere. Apartment size wasnt to big but comfortable. I has a decent size bathroom, a small barlike area, cooking all the thinga necessary. layout of the furniture makes optimal use of the place. The location I'll say again has the best of all worlds. It's close to everything and far enough to not have noise from the masses of people at the centre. Walk 20-30 meters down the road and at the end of the road there is a not to high stone wall. There you can look over the sea and most of marseille due to the area being build higher up I assume it's build around something like a a mountain side or so. The view is absolutely stunning and more so even during the evening. Marseille in general as well must have been one of the most beautiful cities I've been to and I've been to many of the great cities around the world and nearly all famed cities of Europe
