“Excellent comfortable accommodation in a very nice area of Marseille.”
The stay at Casa Cacao was excellent. I phoned the host from the Marseille railway station and after a short taxi ride Jean Pierre was there to meet us. The apartment sits in the grounds of an exceptionally large house and is reached by walking up a spiral staircase. The spacious apartment had two bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom plus a shower room. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils and equipment. There are large gardens with seating and shade which you can use during your visit. The apartment is close to public transport. We were in Marseille for four nights to attend a concert and see the city and we got around very easily. One very welcoming note was that Jean Pierre had produced a welcome sign in French with two small flags in a stand. One for France and one from Scotland. It was a genuinely nice touch. For any visitor who does not want to stay in a hotel the Casa Cacao is an excellent alternative that I would recommend.

The owners were lovely and very accommodating. The apartment was just as described. There was A/C (it was very hot in Marseille when we arrived), wifi, fully equiped kitchen, two bathrooms and one toilet. All in all great experience.

Our place was ideal for a quiet and safe stay. It was located at one of the best areas of the city. 5 minute walk to nice restaurants and coffee places. Our host was one of the best that we have ever met at our trips. Very polite and always willing to help us! I would recommend the place to anyone that wants to travel to Marseille.
