Wonderful property, old French rural farmhouse, well refurbished, has everything one needs, WiFi, comfortable bed, good shower, and you can walk straight out into the heart of the French countryside. The dogs loved it too!

Friendly welcome from the charming host. Wonderfully adapted old building to encompass modern and comfortable facilities. Shower great, bed comfortable, breakfast plentiful with local ingredients, free Wifi. Very very quiet location with plentiful of easy access parking. A short drive to Angouleme with its bars and restaurants and the recommendation from our host proved to be superb - a lovely dinner. Thanks, Davina.

“Peaceful farm stay surrounded by nature and animals :)”

After some busy time with friends, we wanted to stay in a place a bit more remote to unwind and this place was perfect. We were looking for farmhouse vibes and this is exactly what we got. We loved being around the animals; the hosts took time to show us around and let us spend some time with the horses, who are just wonderful. The accommodation was very cosy, and there was a lot of space. Everything was well kept and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.

It is quirky, Davina, the owner & her young son were very hospitable. Lovely quiet place to stay. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, but felt at home! The room is done so nicely & the breakfast is lovely. We’ll be back - hopefully for a longer break next time! ☺️

Davina was very helpful and accommodating. We were the only visitors that night so we had the shared living space to ourself too along with a pellet burner to keep us warm. The dogs were made most welcome and took an interest in the horses which they'd never seen before! Davina provided us with some basic provisions so we could prepare ourselves a simple evening meal in the shared kitchen. Our booking included breakfast of croissants and tea/coffee. Lovely country location. The bedroom was spacious and well appointed with a large well appointed bathroom. Ample parking a few yards away.

I recently stayed at this charming bed and breakfast, and it was a truly delightful experience. The setting is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and lovely horses that add to the peaceful ambience. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible BBQ. Option, bring your own food for the bbq . The team here is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The owner went above and beyond to assist me, even helping me book a vet for my pet before our border crossing. This level of care and attention is rare and much appreciated. Since it's a working farm, I recommend arranging your check-in time in advance. The team might not always be on-site, but they are always nearby and ready to help. Overall, this bed and breakfast offers a warm, personal touch in a beautiful, rural setting. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to relax, enjoy some good food, and experience genuine hospitality.

“Very nice”

Very beautiful, nice, calm and silent farm with a lot of horses just outside Angoulême. Davina was a very nice host, and the dog is very friendly. We stayed one night in between our trip to Spain, this is an ideal place for that. The room was great and clean, the bed was a little hard. Unfortunately there was no self-made ratatouille with farms from the garden, which was offered in the reservation confirmation. But the old city center of Angoulême is very beautiful too.

The breakfast was very extensive and with fresh food. The property was in the middle of nature and very relaxing. The host was very kind and the room was very spacious and clean.

This was a rather lovely rustic-meets-Scandi-style bed and breakfast about fifteen minutes drive from Angoulême city centre. It was the perfect combination of quiet, countryside location with lovely walks, and handily placed for nipping into the city. Good breakfast, very friendly staff, and big, comfortable bed, with great quality linen.

absolute hidden gem, historic buildings set in a peaceful and spacious area, beautifully appointed and comfortable with everything you need for a stopover or longer stay. It’s a B & B but Davina welcomes you to use the small kitchen for tea & coffee or if you just want to heat something for dinner. outside there are plenty of shaded areas to sit and relax and watch the beautiful horses - she runs a stables too. highly recommended.
