It is really great to live in this hotel,and it is very close to the beach,the boss and the staff very nice here

Marsa Matruh is a hidden gem and we are happy to have chosen Agiba Beach because we were looking for a quiet place to relax and it couldn't have been better. The water has a beautiful colour, the sand is white and soft and the beach is long enough to go jogging or play games. We would like to thank Mr. George and his wife for hosting us. If there was anything to ask for, they would give their best to provide help. We felt treated very specially when were given some homemade food. Thinking of the clean rooms with beautiful sea view, we can't imagine any better experience at a hotel. Also because we wanted something simple. Anglo Chalet is perfectly situated next to "agiba bay", a small bay where you can walk along the rocks at beach and with wonderful views from the top of the hill for taking pictures. We were lucky because at the height of the hotel, the water was very calm while just a few hundreds of meters further, it was more windy.

“Great get away on a budget”

It's a great getaway on the budget. The host is what exceeded my expectations the most. Usually in Egypt what I look for in a host is a hassle-free interaction. But Mr Gerges went above and beyond that. He worked beyond my expectations to make sure I have all I need, from accommodating my elders' accessibility needs, to giving me accurate information on which fish restaurant in town was the really really good. All your eating needs are within 5 mins or less by car. Finally the locals also exceeded my expectations. They're decent, generous local folks as opposed to your typical tourist-vampires you find in many touristy destinations.
