Throughout my entire stay, he never stopped checking on me and ensuring that everything was perfect. His dedication to guest satisfaction is truly remarkable. Upon my arrival, he kindly upgraded my room free of charge, which immediately made me feel valued and appreciated as a guest. The following day, when I experienced a very minor issue, he handled it immediately and professionally, and even upgraded me once again to a higher room category. This level of attention, generosity, and commitment to guest comfort is something that is rarely seen. What impressed me even more than his professionalism was his personality. Mr. Mohamed Khaled is extremely polite, respectful, helpful, and genuinely cares about making guests happy. His primary goal is clearly the comfort and satisfaction of every guest, regardless of the circumstances. He made me feel as if I was staying in my own home rather than simply being a guest at a hotel. To be honest, before arriving at the resort, I was very hesitant because I had spent many years staying with other hotel groups. However, after experiencing the level of service, care, and hospitality provided by Mr. Mohamed Khaled, my opinion completely changed. He made me feel truly welcomed and appreciated, and for the first time I felt that I was not just another guest, but someone genuinely cared for. I truly believe that Mr. Mohamed Khaled is one of the people who actively promote tourism in Egypt. He represents Egypt in the best possible way and is a wonderful ambassador for Egyptian tourism. I recently stayed at Pickalbatros Villaggio Resort – Portofino in Marsa Alam and had a very pleasant experience overall. The resort is beautifully designed, with a charming Italian-inspired theme and well-maintained grounds that create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive, which made a noticeable difference. One of the highlights of the resort is the beach and sea—perfect for snorkeling, with clear water and plenty of marine life. There are also several pools, all well-kept and suitable for both relaxation and activities. The food offered good variety, with multiple restaurants and options to suit different tastes. While some dishes were better than others, there was always something enjoyable to eat. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, helpful, and worked hard to ensure guests had a great stay. I would especially like to thank Mohamed the reception manager for his outstanding help and professionalism. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and comfortable, and his kindness really made a difference during our stay. The entertainment team provided a nice mix of daytime activities and evening shows, adding to the overall enjoyment without being intrusive. Overall, Pickalbatros Villaggio Resort – Portofino is a great option for a relaxing holiday in Marsa Alam, especially for those who enjoy the sea and a calm, scenic environment. Title: A truly 5-star experience – Exceptional service! I want to leave another positive review for the Portofino, where I stayed for four days. I had a wonderful time there with my 16-year-old son; everything was absolutely perfect. The most impressive part was the hospitality. From the reception desk to the waitstaff, everyone was smiling and dedicated to satisfying every guest's request with total patience. Having traveled to thirty different countries for my business, I can tell you it is rare to see a staff so devoted to their work. Even when dealing with very difficult guests, the staff remained professional and never lost their composure. I want to give a special thanks to Hassan, who took care of us throughout our entire trip. He helped us find great restaurants and assisted with everything we needed. It was truly 5-star service. After staying here, I moved to two other much more famous hotels, but the service didn't even come close, and I actually regretted leaving. Next time, I will spend my entire trip at the Portofino. It is a magnificent place that has everything needed to make anyone happy. Go there without hesitation—you will have a wonderful trip

“Very relaxing, friendly resort. Good value.”

Comfy rooms (we were upgraded on arrival), with huge beds and bathrooms. Some of the decor is looking a little tired and needs a repaint but only cosmetic. Excellent water pressure in the showers. Lots of choice of restaurants to eat at. Breakfast was good - lots of choice and plenty for everyone to eat. Lunch was not great choice mostly pizza and chips - apparently the beach bar there is more variety but that's a bit of a trek and we only discovered on the last day (because you don't get any info about what the menu is for each restaurant beyond a one word descriptor). Dinner - plenty of restaurants again and lots of choice. Dinner is freshly cooked and tasty but might be tricky if you have a fussy child as we did (she ate a lot of bread and cucumber). Pools are clean and a few are heated (til April). The staff around the pools and in restaurants are excellent - especially the life guards and waiting staff around pools. ALL the pools are lifeguarded so it felt very safe. The whole resort felt very safe and secure - no random cats or dogs strolling around. It's huge and never felt overcrowded.

It should be 10 stars but since we already gave 10 stars to other hotels we would like to give 15 stars to Portofino Pickalbatros. There is, as always, possibility for improvement but if you look at all that this hotel offers you have to wonder is it needed? Amazing place, amazing and polite workers, good food (big tnx to spaghetti wizard Raffi from our 5y old son) The biggest praise should go to their customer service, they are always ready to help and they really care for your comfort. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and truly memorable experience at this hotel. The food was excellent – very tasty, fresh, and impressively diverse. In fact, it was even better than during our previous stay in Hurghada. Every meal offered a great variety of options, and the quality was consistently high. The property is extremely family-friendly. We were pleasantly surprised with a small room upgrade to a beautiful two-bedroom family suite with two bathrooms. The suite was modern, very comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. We genuinely appreciated this gesture. The room conditions were top-notch. Cleanliness was outstanding. Hussein, who took care of our room, did a fantastic job. Everything was spotless, and we truly value the care and attention he put into his work. We highly recommend the spa and massage services. Taha and Zuzu were absolutely amazing – very professional, well-prepared, and attentive. They made sure we felt comfortable and relaxed at all times, and thanks to them we left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Although I was initially hesitant, I decided to try the barber service – and I am so glad I did. Mohamed provided an exceptional experience. It was not just a haircut and shave, but a full grooming ritual including a facial massage and even eyebrow and ear hair trimming. Truly outstanding service. A special mention also goes to Moustafa from the reception desk – he was kind, welcoming, and always very helpful. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to others.

“Very beautiful and relaxing”

The place is massive with multiple restaurants and beaches. Towel stations are everywhere and they give you towel cards that you use to rent the towels and then return them. The staff is always working either cleaning or serving and always with a smile. The buffet food is different in each restaurant but it can become repetitive. I liked their seafood. They give you one night a-la-carte free. They always have drinks available and their coffee machines are always available. We loved running on their boardwalk in the morning then using the gym followed by breakfast. We used their padel courts during the day. We loved the fish in the north most beach. Overall an incredible holiday. Thank you Rashad at the reception.

This place is absolutely incredible. We fell in love with everything here. Normally when it comes to the reviews we like to keep it short and sweet but i dont think we can do the same here. First of all staff is so amazing. Everyone is kind, very helpful and hardworking❤️ The place itself is huge but it doesnt feel overcrowded. There are many swimming pools, some of them are heated in winter time. We actually enjoyed swimming in the pool close to our room with cold water. It was so refreshing! Everywhere is so clean and well looked after and if u r tired of walking u can use a bus or 4/6 seated bike which was so fun to use! Also there is so much to do! We spent 7 days here and we didnt manage to do everything! We can definetely recommend snorkeling as the coral reef is so beatiful here! Spa is first class. Egyptian hammam was a pure pleasure. The food and restaraunts... omg! The choice is great! There is plenty to choose from but if u still cant find anything there are other restaurants you can go to. Our favourite was Soprano and Egyptian. Animation group is also fantastic! There is so much going on that physically u r not able to do and see everthing! This place is perfect for families but also for couples❤️you wont get bored!! Also thank you again for making my husbands birthday so special❤️First we got a room upgrade for free ! On his birthday the room was filled with many ballons and we also got a free birthday cake! Pickalbatros Villagio- you are the best❤️❤️❤️

We are very satisfied — it’s exactly the kind of place where you come to take a break from the big city, slow down a bit, and not think about anything. The staff are 100/10, the manager Ali was always in touch. The lifeguard and the bartender by the pool near the beach club are wonderful. The waiters are friendly. Thank you for a week of pure relaxation.
