Barcelo Resort is a beautiful resort, it lives up to its name OASIS. The best resort I have been to, everything from the pools to the eating places and the relaxing ambience. The staff are very friendly too. Front desk was very proffesional. In particular Zouhair Chlih was exceptional, he exemplyfied great customer service and ensured our stay at Barcelo was joyous. I will most definately come back here.

“A very tranquil and well maintained hotel”

This hotel has a beautiful entrance and an amazing floral smell that makes a great first impression. Staff are on hand to take your bags to the room straight away. The grounds are very well maintained and staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The pools were good, liked having two options. Pool cafe was also good. The minibus into town is a very good addition, it felt clean, safe and secure but could do with more as they were often full when we wanted to use them and the centre is definitely not doable on foot. Getting cabs into the centre we were charged a whole variety of prices – we know we were always being overcharged which was quite frustrating. The rooms and bathroom were a good size and clean.

Absolutely everything. Travelling with a toddler made easy because after a day of busy souks this was the perfect place to escape and relax. The kids club was the best place ever, the team were incredible and my daughter would keep asking to go back. The farm, the activities, the level of coordination all contributed to her having such a memorable and cultural experience. This also allowed us time to relax together, enjoy the fantastic hammam and soak in our surroundings. Additionally a regular shuttle service to the medina allowed us to move around with ease. The food options here were wonderful, Iv never actually been to an all inclusive resort where I loved the food. The night time tagines were delicious and even the pool bar snacks were delicious and perfect for an early dinner for my toddler. Outside of the resort there is a little desert area for camel rides and morning walks. I actually can’t wait to go again! The team were so lovely, especially Kamel, Esme and Zouhair.

The guest house Mr zouhir chlih was very helpful and friendly. He helped us to discover the city, to have the best plan. He was always reachable on WhatsApp and pay a lot of attention to our comfort. He is professional, serious and extremely helpful.

Worst resort I’ve ever experienced and the biggest disappointment of my birthday trip to Marrakesh. Prior to my arrival, I reached out with queries relating to early check in, food options and spa treatments, to which I got no response… and the poor customer service continued throughout. I wasn’t given the room I booked and paid for and rudely told there were no other options. After two failed attempts to resolve it myself, a random male guest spoke to reception on my behalf the next day and only then did they offer me a room change. Cleanliness - 2/5 - The scenery of the resort and room look nice on the surface but that’s where it ends. My room had a broken bathroom mirror and ants crawling up the walls. Food & Drinks - 1/5 - Basic and very limited options. Fry up including baked beans was listed on the room service menu and when I called to request they said it was unavailable. ‘All Inclusive’ is misleading since you get about 2 cocktail options on the menu and everything else costs extra. Staff & Room Service - 1/5 - House keeping are unprofessional and burst into my room multiple times despite being told to come back later when I leave. I waited hours for an iron and had to go to reception multiple times since they don’t answer the phone, only to be brought a broken iron with no thermostat knob and burnt up iron board.

A lovely looking hotel, about a 30 minute ride from the Mdina (expect to pay about 100 MAD for a taxi or use the hotel's free shuttle). The pool was lovely with a nice bar and lots of loungers! It's a calm place to stay if you want to access the city but also have a quiet place to sleep. The breakfast was nice as well and plenty of food to go round!

the room was good because it was a junior suite but there is no enough room for hanging your clothes. Coffee machines were displayed on a shelf where you cant start them on. I had to take the espresso machine out and put it on a shelf? luckily there was a space.
